Antonin
Scalia
is a Supreme Court Justice who sits on the far right side of the bench
as he goes after our civil rights the way Elmer Fudd chases Bugs Bunny.
I’m not certain of his time but he could easily have Moon in
Libra or Scorpio in a square to Pluto and opposite Uranus, so intimacy
issues and obsession would be a problem for him and judging by the
girth under the robes, eating himself to death is what he might be
aiming for. His Sun/Saturn in Pisces conjunction are opposite Neptune,
so his father wasn’t very well defined in the mind of the young
Antonin. He has some issues with the inconjunct of Mars to Neptune
and the one from Venus to Pluto and the Moon is opposite Uranus, so
he needs some unusual emotional stimulation and the other aspects
incline one towards a gay lifestyle. He may even be married for cover
but he’s banging the boys on the side, is my estimate.
Clarence
Thomas
has a conservative and controlling Capricorn ASC and his Moon is in
Aquarius in the 1st, which befits a Cancer, as momma always took good
care of little Clarence. That is an interesting juxtaposition since
Aquarius is the sign of the future and Cancer is the attached to the
past. But if you’re wondering about his values, you only have
to consider that his Mercury and Venus are both retrograde and conjoining
his Sun, so these twisted attitudes and values are very personally
attached to his soul. And they are all conjoined to Uranus, which
doesn’t make him progressive at all. He’s so steeped in
the past and old traditions that I’m sure many brothers refer
to him as the ultimate Uncle Tom. But what is most telling is that
his Pluto is closely square to his nodes and the South Node is in
Scorpio, so corruption is his stock in trade, as well as sexual obsessions,
if you remember the Anita Hill trial. If you ask me, it should have
been Thomas on trail.
So
who is John
Roberts? His Aquarian credentials
are diminished by his Mercury in a square to Saturn, which is a tendency
to view things negatively and to be a slow learner. His Moon is in
Pisces, so he’s a person of faith, but it squares his Venus,
so he doesn’t really like women, like Rummy, and look who he
hangs with. Mars has only one planetary aspect with a sextile to the
Sun but it squares the nodes, so his anger issues are going to come
into play. I think it may also play into a lack of personal accountability
or responsibility, plus, he was a jock, as captain of the football
team and worked in a steel mill, so of course he’s a Republican,
playing Tom Cruise’s character in “All the Right Moves.”
With Mercury opposite Pluto, he might project his thoughts of corruption
onto the people he works for and that would actually make sense. Sandra
Day O’Connor has her Moon in Aquarius and this guy has Sun and
Mercury there, so he could be principled enough to be able to make
fair-minded decisions based on the research he likes to do. What strikes
me as inappropriate is his age, while another factor is the lack of
experience on the bench. Let him have more than two years on a court
of appeals and earn some stripes there. Then he can go to the show.
You don’t throw a rookie pitcher in the World Series; so don’t
put in so young a justice. But we also have to look at the person
who most influences his stance on some pertinent issues…his
wife, and I see she is an ardent antiabortionist. She could derail
his ascension to the highest bench in the land. We have to decide
our judicial way with a clear understanding of what our founders set
up for us and make sure we know what we are getting before acceding
to another tricky ploy of distraction.
David
Souter
is the appointee of Bush the 1st and he turned out to be more liberally
moderate than conservative. Who knew a Virgo would serve in a way
that worked properly as opposed to from an ideological perspective?
He’s a compassionate, considerate, analytical and understanding
judge and may have been perceived as a conservative early on as he
has Saturn on the South Node. As one matures, they advance toward
the positive traits of the North Node while repudiating the negative
traits of the South Node. The Libra North promises compromises, awareness
of the rights and values of others and takes a back seat when it comes
to leadership. You rarely hear much about him or his opinions, as
he is merely doing his job to the best of his ability with the detailed
astuteness and a lack of any partisan agenda. His Moon is in Scorpio,
so he digs deeper into research material than most and loves his quiet
time. The 4 planets in Virgo trine Mars in Capricorn and Uranus in
Taurus to form a Grand Trine in Earth bringing an ability to build
a solid foundation and excellent reputation. His detractors will call
him weak or wishy-washy but he believes in this country, having his
Chiron and Pallas Athene in Cancer near the US Sun degree, which is
the same degree as his Nadir. Mars is opposite Pluto, so he will have
to face down the corruption that seeks to influence his vote. It is
my opinion at this time that he might actually be the best Justice
for the Chief position. Except for Mars square the nodes and Saturn,
he has little in the way of planetary conflicts. He’s more like
an abbot or old monk. It’s better than sending in a rookie to
lead the team.
Sandra
Day O’Connor,
the retiring Supreme Court Justice is an Aries with Moon in Aquarius,
which is why Reagan picked her, perhaps, as he felt a connection.
I guess the Aries personality didn’t care what people thought
she was going to do, as her Aquarius Moon needs to surprise people.
Everyone thought it was going to be old man Rhenquist retiring, and
it was when he died but little Missy Sandy shocks the entire spectrum
of American politics. She has her Aquarius Moon and Mars in Pisces
opposite Neptune, so she knows she has to be compassionate, to be
true to her principles and ideals and to understand the nuance and
essence of the constitutional rights and laws. Her Moon sextiles Pallas
Athene near the North Node, so diplomacy and sensitive, instinctive
wisdom are her forte, often setting the scales as they should be.
She has Venus conjoined to Uranus, just like Liz Taylor, who has it
exact, but Sandy Day has Saturn and its opposite planet, Pluto, in
squares to Venus. This has caused her to limit her associations and
impulsive attractions to people and to be in favor of women’s
issues. Mars square Jupiter in Gemini is always taking on too many
things and will fight for the rights of the underdog, battling conventional,
read conservative, wisdom, or lack thereof. In an interesting juxtaposition
of nodal rulers, her North Node ruler, Venus, is exactly square the
South Node ruler, Pluto, a challenge for her to confront her values
that must be built upon personal qualities and concerns rather than
be bought by corrupt lobbyists or corporate friends. Sun square Saturn
often reflects a lack of self-esteem and a late bloomer, as early
struggles lead to self-mastery through self-discipline and effort.
Time has a way of catching up with you, though and she has had a rough
pass of Saturn through Cancer, especially now, as it squares her Hygeia
and affects her health. She also has Pallas there being squared, so
beware the scare of the Bush dog, barking at you to go away or something
might happen to your family. But, according to her solar return, the
fight has gone out of her and she’s tired of dealing with the
brutish idiocy of this administration. She’ll say she wants
to spend more time with her husband, since the Moon in Libra and the
Sun/Venus conjunction make a good case for intimate partnership.
Samuel
Alito is
an Aries with Moon conjunct Mars in Virgo inconjunct Jupiter conjunct
Venus, so has a lot of animosity towards women in general and maybe
has issues with his mother in particular, since it must have been
her who brow beat him into being the anti-abortionist he is. He is
judgmental in a way not good for a jurist and has this misplaced idealism
of a perfect society that he helps clean up. This is the wrong kind
of person to sit in judgment of any American and we should send him
over to Iraq and let him sit on the court there. His Venus and Jupiter
trine Uranus so he has this utopian ideal that many neocons have;
to eliminate the burden of minorities from our land and purify it
for their fascist world takeover. It is his Sun/Mercury trine Pluto
that really ties him into a ideal of corruption and sneaky backdoor
dealings. His Moon and Saturn both square Chiron, so some research
into his family background might be illuminating. Saturn square Ceres,
indicates a severe lack of nurturance and motherly affection, which
fits Moon/Mars in Virgo opposite Vesta, so a woman has to be sacrificed
for the man, which is why he supports wife-beating and a man’s
dominance over his woman, so would require a woman to get permission
from him for an abortion. Moon/Mars is the slave a woman is perceived
as with man as Mars beating her when needed, keeping her in her place.
Virgo is the sign of servitude, so his mom might have been a role
model here for him. Hold on a second! Don’t we have equal rights?
Oh, wait, I don’t think the states ever ratified it or that
Congress ever passed it. Maybe in 2023, the centennial year, might
it pass, at long last. Since he is Italian by birth in the state of
New Jersey, land of Tony Soprano, I think his family tree should be
researched a little more thoroughly and he might be revealed to have
some skeletons in his closet, perhaps even literally. And is that
a comb-over? Or did some poor mammal have to die to give him a lid?
