Personality flaws would be obsession and greed, desiring resources that others have. It would also cause problems with his spine or heart. With his Moon square Mars, there are anger and impatience issues. His Sun square Saturn defines his fear and Jupiter expands that fear to make it paranoia. He would exaggerate the threat of attack and commit to an aggressive defense system. The Jupiter/Saturn square to Pluto creates the megalomania and the ambition to capitalize on the death of others or the destruction of their government and armies. Venus in Capricorn trine Uranus in Taurus can build friendships that are business oriented or where there is money to be made. Throwing Neptune into the grand trine, he’ll incorporate illusion or deception to get what he wants for him and his friends. He created the fantasy of the threat of Iraq and the WMD’s. Condoleeza Rice and her Scorpio secrets are pressured by transiting Saturn on her South Node. She’s torn between two masters…the president and the public she allegedly serves. Then she’s got Mars square Saturn, which can be anger and frustration at her own bad timing. It could also represent abuse she may have experienced from men in her life. Mars is also square to Sun and Venus as well, indicating an impatient and angry person who doesn’t really like too many people. Throw in her Moon conjunction to Uranus and she detaches from real emotional situations, like an iceberg. And with the Moon square Neptune the disappointment she experienced in a dissolving family structure, one that she needed to escape from. Her daddy was a shotgun-toting vigilante in Alabama, shooting the white folks who came to harass the black people. With the Moon opposite Chiron, her family and her emotions are very wounded, and not just because of prejudice in the South.

To sum up her chart in a nutshell, she’s a type of person I can’t imagine too many people really liking or knowing all that well. She wouldn’t be welcome in my house, as I wouldn’t trust her as far as I could throw her and would love an opportunity to do that. She’s delusional and deceitful, with a strong will and an even stronger won’t. She won’t do a lot of things as she has an elitist mentality, even though she comes from humble roots. She, like Dick Cheney, has Mercury square Uranus, an aspect of selective hearing. These are not the sort of people we should trust our national security to, especially when they have a wanton disregard for valuable information from the outgoing administration. They have a responsibility to check out any leads on making the best decisions for the country and it just wasn’t done. These people are a disgrace to the American way.

Karl Rove and the Art of Deception
This Neo-Con-Nazi has the Stalin qualities of being a Capricorn with Sun square Saturn, so resentment at growing up with low self-esteem is compensated for by destroying the lives of people with whom they have a problem.
Rove isn’t really a genius, but an evil, twisted, spiritually perverted con artist. His Moon is opposite Mercury retrograde and Venus and they are all square to Neptune! He might be gay in secret, especially with Mars in Aquarius quincunx to Uranus, indicating kinky sexual appetites. He’s led a life of fraud, lies, and deception and has managed to avoid having the finger pointed at him. Until now. I believe he is the architect of the stolen elections, including using locals and imports to confuse and pressure the issue. I know he did it in Florida and I wouldn’t doubt that he’s involved with Ohio, as well. But let the astrological facts spell it out.
His Sun is sextile Jupiter, exactly and his Jupiter trines Uranus, which opposes his Sun. So, he’s a political opportunist who manipulates or uses his friends and acquaintances to gain power with his special friend in front of the public. Or he gets people to do his bidding so he can maintain and expand their control and power. Bush and Rove go back to 1977, after Herbert got booted out of the DCI position. I would think there’s a connection there.
Rove’s Sun also conjoins Pallas, leading him into diplomatic circles and it, in turn, is conjoining Chiron, showing his status as a political mentor and consultant. Chiron in Sag shows the giving of advice for political purposes and international hegemony. Chiron squares his Nodes, so this gaping wound of overcompensation permeates his whole existence. Chiron is also close enough to conjoin his Sun, marking him as a wounded soul with global power his counterweight for his pain.

Mercury retrograde inconjunct Pluto shows repetitive obsession with sex and its attendant passions. I suppose it is also an aspect of self-aggrandizement and hegemony. Saturn is square his Chiron and Moon, so he has always lived on a diet of fear and frustration and shall see the fruits of this line of thought. He has Pluto at the midpoint of his Sun and Venus in Leo, which points to death, sex and transformation and well as self-destruction. We’ll see if he lives to see an actual verdict before he, as many more Leos seem to do, decides to end this physical existence and try his fate in spirit…which leads him back to flesh and in a much less pleasant experience. And if I have my rectification methodology working properly, Pluto would be approaching his ASC and seem to rock his world, turning it upside down. Death and rebirth are very Plutonian. Saturn is on his Venus right now, square his Mars and his minor Saturn is exactly on his Mars in a square to his Venus, so he won’t be a happy camper for a long time, certainly not getting much sexual action where he’s going, unless he’s in General Population and gets hit upon in the shower. His grand trine might help him get accustomed to his new playmates, as he has Mars trine Jupiter in Pisces and Uranus in Cancer and if he tells them his has cancer in Uranus, they might leave his ass alone and just make him get on his knees and play the skin flute. Here’s Mars in Taurus bearing down on his Pluto and I think he might be starting to worry about just these images about now as the Grand Jury is about to indict him or even charge him with a federal crime. Jack Abramoff is the unredeemed kind of Pisces, who swims more with the sharks than the shrimp. Consider the other attractions to wealth and power in the oppositions of Sun/Mercury to Pluto and Moon in Gemini to Saturn and you’ll recognize the charming and talkative scam master who sneaks financial prospects into every encounter. There’s always a purpose and motive for every interaction he positions himself for and there are always benefits for at least a couple of people involved and usually a big loser for whom there is no compassion or respect, only distain and ridicule. Mars makes no planetary aspects, so there’s a lot of undirected anger that is projected outward. April 3, 2006 Update on Jack Abramoff has been sentenced to 5 years and 10 months but wait…there’s more. He’s going to help bring down the most corrupt members of congress and he better do it before the mid-term elections in November so that those who are re-elected, deserve to be re-elected. He is the poster boy for what has become horribly wrong in the Party of Lincoln. GOP has gone from Grand Old Party to Greedy Old Pigs all the way to Grab Omnipotent Power by fixing elections and funneling money illegally into campaigns. He is only the foreskin of the big prick that is the corrupt, crony connections congress and corporations comprise. Now that he’s been clipped from the system of shakedowns that fed the culture of corruption with capital, it’s time to see what’s shaking out of that branch of the governmental tree.

Grover Norquist
He is the financial architect of the ruination of the nation. Back in April, when the Sun had just entered Taurus, I did this little profile of this evil economic deconstructionist, Grover Norquist, the Libra with Moon in Aries, the exact opposite of the new pope! The Anti-Pope! His South Node is Taurus and Pluto exactly squares it! And Saturn squares it, meaning there are fears associated with the kinds of things he is suggesting and he won’t reveal the truth about the consequences of his idea of shrinking government so we don’t have to pay for all the services, which is where privatization comes in. With no democratic government to represent the people, you have pawns of industry running the world with globalized mechanization. But private industry doesn’t have to provide you with the commitment government does. The government is guaranteed to be there, while a business is subject to market and consumer variations and may go under, leaving you with no one to be there for the service. The biggest problem is price controls the government sets and industry manipulates to bust unions and drive down wages and increase profits. Grover has Sun conjunct Neptune, so he’s living in a dream of his own creation and is delusional along with his president, his chief policy strategist, Rover, who has Mercury retrograde square Neptune, so lives a repeating dream. Rover has it over and over, Grover. Norquist has no aspects to his Mercury and it lags behind the Sun, so instead of the brilliant genius, boy wonder, he’s really not all that aware of how the world functions in the absence of sense and logic. With his Moon in Aries opposing his Sun, he doesn’t care about the needs of the people of his own country and sees them as the enemy of his fantasy. With Mars in Pisces opposite Venus in Virgo, I see him attacking, in a passive-aggressive way, the people in uniform and others who work for a living and their way of life, making him out to be the ultimate elitist. His Mars shows anger in a delusional way at the middle and lower classes as he seeks to have everything privatized and commercialized bringing in the bright new future you might recognize from Futurama, populated mostly by robots. The guy also has no aspects to Jupiter in Virgo, a lousy placement for it, anyway, that should follow a path of civil service, not economic disaster. His Saturn closely squares Pluto in what could be overcompensation for an absent father by re-enacting the sense of destructive withholding played out on hundreds of millions of people.

Newt Gingrich
One of the more hated men amongst liberals yet he seemed practically engaging when he was on the Daily Show this week. His Sun is near Saturn but that doesn’t mean he’s lean because he has Moon in Sag, opposing Saturn, so there were certainly parental control issues. His Venus is conjoining Pluto, so he’s in bed with all the corrupt people, since he’s a politician, and they are trine his Moon in Sag and his Mars in the angry sign of Aries. His Mercury conjoins Uranus, which makes for a brilliant and quick ingeniousness and its trine to Neptune gives him the belief that his ideas are right and divinely inspired. However, with Sun square Neptune, he’s delusional and lives in a wonderland of his imagination, where Democrats and Republicans can get along in harmony.

Tom Ridge
The former head of Homeland Security, is responsible for color-coded terror alerts, like that’s going to help in case of an attack. Fear and terror are spread by the dissemination of bogus information, which has happened all along in this war. His chart has Moon in Aries square Saturn and Venus in Cancer, so there you have protector and controller or manipulator of people’s fears by readying them for an imminent attack, which never came. Mercury retrograde sextile Mars/Uranus in Gemini is the repeating of the same mistake hoping to come up with a different answer or outcome. Neptune squares his nodes, so maybe he has a problem with mass deception, with Jupiter too close to Neptune to consider otherwise. But for a wide trine to the Moon, Pluto makes little or no contacts to the rest of his chart, showing a need for further research and investigation, even spying to find out what’s really going on. I suppose he became disillusioned with the direction of things, since Bush is the ultimate Peter Principle example.

Kenny Boy was the architect of the energy policy set in motion by Cheney and the secret energy panel that met in the early days of the Bush administration. The plot entailed a way to raise energy prices and gouge those liberals in California until they were paying through the teeth for electricity. But what of the man? What kind of guy wants to rip off little old ladies and retired people of all sorts who are on fixed incomes and can’t afford the air conditioning during their Palm Springs summers? A double Aries with Mercury also there with only a sextile to the Mars/Jupiter conjunction in Gemini, so not a very sensitive one. In fact, Neptune, which rules compassion, is square to Mars, an aspect of drug and alcohol addiction. He also has Neptune inconjunct the Sun and Moon, while in a trine to Saturn and Uranus. So he has used deception and obfuscation to rip off millions of people and therein lies the economic problem of our energy policies. His Sun and Moon are also square Pluto, which shows the corruption steaming from him like the fresh stink of a cow pie in a chilly field. His Venus in Pisces is on the South Node and shows his complete and utter disregard for any kind of compassionate response to people and with Ceres there, he doesn’t care that people can’t take care of themselves because of what he has done.

Well, Saturn is in a square to his Mercury now (April 2005) and approaching the square to his Sun and Moon, so he should have some obstacles and maybe even prison time for his role in destroying our economy. But then, won’t he get pardoned or bailed out by his powerful friend, the president? Probably so, so don’t wait too long for justice to be met out. It won’t happen anytime soon with this administration. I doubt that he can sustain a decent relationship because all he has to offer a woman is money, so he may be into the boys, too, like Karl Rove. Maybe they go on gay cruises together looking for hot, young GOP studs, like Jeff Gannon. Lay’s Mars in Gemini on Jupiter would seem to like athletic men as the preferred sex partner. If he is into women, he probably has to pay for them. Or I should say, all those little old ladies in California have already paid for them.

Frank Murkowski
The governor of Alaska, who has to be the biggest asshole in the biggest state in the country. He’s an Aries, of course, with Moon in Taurus, so a more basic personality you couldn’t get. But he has Mercury in Pisces retrograde and Neptune is on the South Node, so deception is an old acquaintance of his. With Moon square Saturn, he had parents that divorced or weren’t together when he was born. Speaking of birth, with Neptune on the South Node there may be a karmic issue with drugs and/or alcohol, which could be substance abuse as the North Node becomes a little overdone, especially with Ceres in Pisces, the nurturance with alcohol. After all, he has Venus in Aries on his Sun, not that he’s a very handsome man, because he doesn’t look like he ever was. Anyway, the Venus/Sun conjunction can also make one indulgent, greedy and selfish when they are inconjunct Neptune and Mars. He has a complete lack of compassion and no awareness of the damage he and others like him have already caused in his state and elsewhere in the region. There seems to be a disconnect in their inability to see how things are all connected and part of a larger eco-environment that is worth trying to save.

G. Gordon Liddy is a friend of Al Franken, most unbelievably, unless you listen to his Air America Show and have heard G appear or heard Al speak about him. Andy Card quits before he’s indicted, I would guess, because it is the most common reason, but the job has aged him significantly. Josh Bolten, who is born exactly twelve days after AG, replaces Card, so another hard line Neo Con enters the fray. He has Moon, Jupiter and Venus conjoining in Leo all squaring Saturn, so he can’t love and would never be honest about it or anything else. His Sun closely conjoins Mars and is 3 degrees from Pluto. His desire for global destruction and domination is frightful, as he has no care or compassion regarding humans or the planet. This is the ultimate reptilian typical of the Neo Cons. His nodes are opposite those of Bush who has his Uranus on Bolten’s South Node, so they’ve been radical revolutionary friends in a past life. But he has six planets in Leo and must be an insufferable egotist who has headed OMB and you can see what a bang-up job he’s done managing the budget!
