Nixon
A Profile
The
Early Years
Born in Fullerton, he grows up in the idyllic towns of Whittier and
Yorba Linda, far from the bustling insanity of a big metropolis.
1941, the day he meets Prescott Bush and is dubbed as the future of
the party. The world is in chaos and the forces of darkness are upon
the Earth. The dark lord himself, one of Hitler’s financiers
Prescott Bush, teaches Nixon the ropes. In his indoctrination, he
learns the value of drug money, petro-chemicals – plastics,
gas and oil, pharmaceuticals and the automobile industry. Of course,
banks and insurance companies are part of the great international
marketing plan. The concept is to control everything globally and
to do so you have to eliminate competition. World domination was in
back in 1941…Germany and Japan were already in the process.
England and France had already had their day in the sun of global
expansion as had the Spaniards. The United States had a duty to stop
Fascism and then Communism. They were, ultimately, competition for
resources and the only way to control everything was to influence
foreign governments or install your own despot. But that all came
later, after the creation of the CIA in the 50’s, when a 39-year-old
Vice President began covert operations around the world. After serving
in the Pacific theater during the war and subsequently getting into
congress, he then served on HUAC, where he was a known commie-chaser.
Upon his election as VP under Eisenhower, his first challenge was
Korea but he really started getting into Viet Nam and then Cuba, which
becomes an obsession. The biographies are sketchy about his activities
during the Eisenhower years and flying under the radar is what a sneaky
spy catcher likes to do.
The
real interesting stuff is revealed in his chart. He is an introvert,
with all his personal planets below the horizon, leaving only Saturn,
Neptune and Pluto above to be exposed in the external world of the
social realm. Not gifted with a brilliant mind, he compensated by
learning as much as he could by reading and studying subjects he was
weak on or needed to know more about. His stellium in the 4th house
in Sag and Cap or Mars, Mercury and Jupiter show this keen and sharp
mind, eager to learn as much as he could. But Capricorn is a very
private sign, and they distrust people’s motives, thinking their
power will be usurped.
Even
though they like the success, they don’t like their privacy
intruded upon. This stellium of Mars, Mercury and Jupiter is in a
close opposition to Pluto, creating the corruption and the dark side
forces, including the mob and other forms of underworld activity.
This would include but not be limited to, the invasion of other people’s
privacy in the form of taping conversations with them, later to be
used as blackmail weapons. It would also pertain to the gas and oil
industries, as Pluto has domain over them. Some would say Neptune
does and I would say, okay, fine. Neptune is opposite his Sun. Either
way you look at it, deception and corruption are the hallmarks of
his legacy. Throw in, for good measure, his square from Saturn to
his Moon and Venus! I don’t think he liked women all that much
and Pat stood by him because of his power and where would she be able
to go where he wouldn’t track her down? His moon in Aquarius
makes him emotionally erratic and unpredictable, but he takes care
of his friends. In the mafia, “friends” is code for other
people in the same business with whom you have a favorable arrangement.
You wouldn’t take them home to meet your wife and kids but they
would be known to other members of your “Family”.
Back
to his Jupiter and Mercury in Capricorn, they do one other thing…they
square the nodes, which is referred to as a skipped step in the evolutionary
process. What that means is he never learned what responsible use
of the truth was all about. Plus, Jupiter is in about the worst sign
it could be in regarding trust in political ventures. I could put
it thusly…he used as much information as he desired to manipulate
the results he wanted. Most politicians use this tactic but he was
a master of it. His Moon in Aquarius is in a square to the asteroid
of nurturing, Ceres, so he never got any affection from his mother,
nor his wife. He was cold to her and she to him, no doubt. How can
presidential wives ever get any respect or attention? We diminish
their importance, but face it…without women, none of us would
be here.
Gerald
Ford
He has always been remembered as the president who couldn’t
walk and chew gum at the same time. He has since been outdone in clumsiness
by the current holder of the position, which gives him way too much
power and far too little accountability. That I shouldn’t make
this about anyone else, Gerry Ford loved the outdoors and sports,
growing up a Cornhusker in Nebraska, an outgrowth of his Moon in Sag,
which also led to politics. He was on the Warren Commission that helped
squelch the truth about the JFK assassination and was rewarded for
his cooperation by Nixon to replace Spiro Agnew, who resigned because
of income tax evasion charges. Why won’t they do that with Cheney?
Back to the chart; the Sun conjoining Neptune can be spiritual, creative,
imaginative, addictive, escapist or deceptive, as well as any number
of other descriptions. Mercury in Leo is in a square to Mars, an argumentative
and confrontational inquisitor and clumsy of speech, as things get
blurted out without much reflection. That’s why they have scripts!
Reagan rarely needed a script in many of his early speeches, as the
actor memorized and extemporized with the best of them, which is why
he swept the field in his elections. But Gerry, with Jupiter in Capricorn,
benefited by knowing the right guy at the right time to be of help
to each other. Venus in Gemini opposite the Moon is a very compromising
aspect, I would think. Maybe the North Node in Pisces with Juno there
and the Sun/Neptune conjunction had a lot to do with the pardon for
Nixon. Oh wait, no…that had to have been part of the deal going
in. “You’ll let me go Scott free, Gerry, or I’ll
break your balls, make no mistake about it.“
An update on his medical condition…in January he entered the
hospital in Palm Springs, near his home, for pneumonia in January
2006. He was okay.
Spiro
Agnew
was Nixon’s first Vice President…let’s look at this
creep. Sun/Venus squares Neptune, so right there you have the reason
he succeeded and failed all in one aspect…almost. Mercury in
Sag is square the opposition of Saturn to Uranus, as he regularly
offered his wise-guy opinion with negativity and scorn, often with
deliberate alliteration to remind us of his South Node in Gemini.
His Moon is in Capricorn opposite Jupiter in Cancer, so he needed
to be more honest and generous to the American people. Instead, he
called some, “nattering nabobs of negativism.” Mars square
Chiron shows issues with anger and patience. Mercury square Saturn
could be a fear-monger. He resigned from office because he was convicted
of income tax evasion.
Ronald
Reagan
– The Great Communicator and Commie hater
Not much of an Aquarian, except in his friendly, strange ways, he
had three planets in Capricorn, Moon and Saturn in Taurus, which accounts
for his conservatism. However, Mercury conjunct Uranus in Cap makes
for a bright mind, able to use information that has been accumulated
over a long life with lots of movie dialogue ready for the right questions.
The Mercury conjunction also has the brilliant ideas for making futuristic
changes, like being environmentally strong as governor and seeing
the end of Communism. This aspect also made him an idealist, without
the reality check of having to walk in another man’s shows…or
shoes.
His
Jupiter in Scorpio was right on the South Node, giving him a past
life in which he governed ruthlessly, possibly in China and opposite
that is the Moon in Taurus, for which his sweet tooth became famous,
with his addiction for jellybeans. With planets on both nodes, his
struggle between the past and the future would be a major battlefield.
His Sun squares the nodal axis and planets, indicating skipped steps
in his karma. Asserting his will would have been the way to balance
that out and some might say he did. Others might suggest that Bush
ran the country while Reagan slept. But let’s see what the chart
says.
Having
Neptune in the 7th house and Venus in Pisces, it’s no wonder
he married two actresses. Venus is also conjunct Chiron, indicating
a soulmate union, as well as relating to wounded souls. This conjunction
is in sextiles to both Mars in Cap and Saturn in Taurus. So a long
and energetic relationship would be the result. Under the illusion
of the glamorous fantasy of Neptune, it’s easy for a marriage
to end in divorce because of the disillusionment of it not living
up to his dreams. Nancy had her Sun on his Neptune, so was the personification
of someone who would sacrifice her own personal desires to fulfill
his. Another manifestation of this Neptune is his ease at deceiving
others. As another Aquarian president said, you can fool some of the
people some of the time…
Pluto
in Gemini opposing the ASC in the 6th house has several interpretations
but I think it’s his powerful transformational influence on
others in the pursuit of public service. It could also be the corrupt
people he had working for him during his presidency. His ASC would
be Sag, as his sense of humor was legendary and his fun-loving easy-going
persona belied the stress and strain of governing.
One
of the classic twice-monthly aspects that occur is the Sun square
to the Moon, which often leaves the mark of an identity crisis. Some
would say that actors frequently have these ego dilemmas and from
playing so many characters, they don’t always know who they
really are. It can be said that Jupiter square to the Sun caused him
to compensate with humor when he didn’t have a good enough answer
to keep the question monkeys off his back.
Of
his marriage to Nancy, I can say it’s a destined partnership
for a few reasons. One I’ve seen several times is the Nodal
polarity on the MC/IC axis. Nancy’s nodes are on Ron’s
axis. His Juno is on her North Node exactly.
J.
Edgar Hoover, it seems, had eyes
everywhere because he was so paranoid about getting found out for
his homosexuality, that he had files on everyone of any importance.
What may have been the case was massive overcompensation for horrible
insecurity, as his Mars in Taurus opposite Saturn in Scorpio may have
given him a small penis and he was a secret cross-dresser. Moon in
Pisces liked to play out fantasies and in a square to Neptune and
Pluto, there was a great deal of sexual escapism and obsessive-compulsive
behavior. Jupiter square the nodes and opposite Mercury and the Sun
also contribute heavily to this inability to be honest about his own
emotional needs. He needed to accept and understand his emotions and
instead, he avoided them and projected a law and order cover-up that
hurt a lot of people. Mars opposite Saturn is a big key to his personality,
since it indicates confrontation with male authority figures, since
he wants to be the main man at the table. This is also where spying
on people’s sexual interests obsessed him and there is much
more than I can go into here and now. He was never a very honest man,
since the Jupiter opposition indicates a projection of those qualities
and attraction to political people to serve, as it is in the 6th house.
This Public Servant was a public enemy of the constitution.
Strom
Thurmond lived 100 years and
was in the Senate for much of that time, over forty years. He was
governor of South Carolina and then became the senator with the longest
term in office. But you can google him to find out facts. I will tell
you the truth of his character! Hypocrisy is one of the more glaring
traits in a Southern gentleman when they are racist and yet choose
to sleep with colored women and have a child by them. He screwed around
with the servant negress when he was a younger man. His anger and
racial hatred is his Mars in Virgo square the opposition of Pluto
in Gemini to Sun, Venus and Uranus in Sag. His Moon in Aquarius conjoins
Jupiter, for more judgmental attitudes, but it gives an instinct for
the law, which, with a sextile to Mercury and the Sun reinforces and
made him a lawmaker. Mars in Virgo trine Saturn and Hygeia in Taurus
gave him that long life and led him to fight on the beaches of Normandy
at the advanced age for a soldier at 41. Sag is the shortest-lived
sign from a statistical basis but Strom beat the stats. To a bloody
pulp!
PRESCOTT
BUSH
Grandfather
of the president, Prescott has his Taurus Sun square the Moon in ice
cold Aquarius, making for a detached, technologically oriented need
to reform the world in his own image. His Mercury conjoins Pluto,
like Dubya but he adds to it Neptune in Gemini as well, making for
a desire for racial and religious purification, which is why he backed
Hitler. With Venus/Jupiter in Cancer trine Saturn in Scorpio, he has
the same aspect the progressed US chart has, which is why his business
was to capitalize on international political intrigue. Neptune is
in a square to the nodes, inclining him to be spiritually bankrupt
and corrosive as toxic chemicals. His Sun in Taurus opposing Uranus
might have inclined him to profit off of war and radical destruction
of humanity, since he was disposed to providing Hitler with financing
and materials for weapons and armor. Mars in Cancer was inconjunct
the Moon, an indication of his dislike of intimate female relationships,
although he would father some children for the purpose of continuing
the breeding program. It’s somewhat of a problem, however, when
the traits you pass along show severe wounds regarding higher aspirations,
such as truth, wisdom and even family values. That’s right,
kiddies…our leader’s granddaddy was a traitor to his country
and still managed to get elected to congress. He had Venus and Jupiter
in a square to Chiron, so was lost to any true sense of love and harmony,
perverting the American Dream into an opportunity to benefit from
the suffering of millions. Sure he made millions from and that was
his rationale, I’m sure, being a Taurus. Chiron also squares
the Moon, showing more emotional pain he took out on others, as he
adjusted the business to profit from other foreign investments and
business deals that were more black market than legitimate business.
All I can offer in conclusion is that the apples didn’t fall
far from the tree and therein lies the pity. Evil creates evil as
good begets good. Had granddad been a nicer person, maybe the family
tree wouldn’t have become so rotten.
Talk
about an international man of mystery! Austin Powers meet the man
who has so much power, Dr.
Henry Kissinger.
Henry Kissinger is the international diplomat/spy/consultant/Right
Wing investor in oil and other destructive commodities. His Sun and
Mercury retrograde are in the 12th house, of deception, secrets and
sorrows, victimization, hidden enemies and illusion. His Mars is on
the Gemini ASC giving him a natural predisposition to war mongering,
which, as a diplomat, was like adding gas to the fire. As in Fahrenheit
451, he would be the kind of fireman who throws the books on the fires,
so his transactions can’t be documented or traced. But in these
days of computers, that’s not quite so true. He’s a duplicitous
man and always has been. Venus sextile Pluto reveals his best friends
to be corrupt American politicians, even though he is a former Nazi.
Maybe that’s why he’s been so involved in the Bush and
Nixon administrations. Saturn conjunct Moon in the 5th is bad enough,
as it’s about creating fear and control as basic instincts,
but that Saturn is also square Pluto, which shows even darker energies
within his plots and ambitions. Jupiter square Neptune indicates he
can’t tell the truth to save his life since he has no real understanding
of what truth really is. Uranus on the South Node tells me a few things
about his soul. One is that he is perceived as a genius amongst a
certain sector of society and the other is that he is an anti-liberationist.
He is a man dedicated to the men who would rule the world with an
iron fist and eliminate all the poor, the sick and the elderly who
are seen as drains on the system. His Venus opposite Jupiter in Scorpio
inclines him toward opportunism and advantage taking, as when a door
opens, he rushes in if it would be in his best financial interest.
