Well, Happy Cinco de Mayo…in two days, when I’m taping a segment for Blind Date! It’ll be on in about 5 or 6 months but at least you’ll see me on TV. Celebrations of spring are common, as May Day traditions show. It was the New Moon on the 1st and it’s a time of new beginnings during a retrograde when you need to finish up old projects. Or the past can bite you in the ass. I notice that Venus is trine Pluto, which can translate to big money for those who are connected to oil businesses…like Halliburton. I don’t mean to go into retrograding over this point, but I mentioned a few weeks ago about the suspicious deal that will make our vice president about 7 million dollars once he leaves office. I’m not a throwback kind of guy but FDR dealt with a similar situation back during the depression and the result was getting American laborers higher wages and breaking anti-trust offenders. When big businesses merge you get giant businesses that control huge amounts of revenue. Money equals power as it affords you the luxury of buying politicians off and they get you into sweet contracts for return favors. This is why we have to take the money out of the pockets of alleged public servants because they are really the pawns of millionaires. One of my client friends sent me an email telling the story about Hitler leading up to the war and it sounds frighteningly like Bush. Consider this…it runs in the blood, since our president’s grandfather had been a major financier to the Germans and his associates and their companies supplied them with arms and equipment. In fact, Prescott Bush had partners who were found guilty of treason and trading with the enemy. The Bush clan has always had friends in high places so they get off scot-free. Not to retrograde too much but Prescott Bush was responsible for choosing Nixon to be his man in the plan and it’s a scam against the American public. I’m not sure I could even grasp the scope of it myself but it’s awesome. Think about the time frame wherein these people have manipulated policy and the global events. Were they fair and reasonable people, they wouldn’t have been in office. These are ruthless people who think nothing of murder or sacrificing thousands of lives for their agenda. Many times there have been public assassinations of political rivals, the Nixon/Bush gang has been behind them. You RINO’s, Republicans In Name Only, should consider what you really stand for because if you’re making less than a quarter million per year, it doesn’t benefit you to be in that party. You know 33% of Republicans are against the tax cut that will favor the richest 1 per cent of the population. This is our leader, giving his friends lots of money at the expense of the regular guy. Where does the money really go? And where should it come from? The people who spend the most should be taxed the most, so a national sales tax would be the biggest equalizer. With luxury items providing revenue instead of tax breaks, as with SUV’s, we could bolster our economy. Money isn’t the only thing Taurus is about…it’s also about sensuality and earthy things, like sex and plant life. Your garden is a perfect place to do your Taurean workout. Living in concrete jungles like Los Angeles, giving oxygen back to the air by growing lots of plants would seem to make sense, especially if they have medicinal value. God gave us herb-bearing seed and that for man shall be food. Now the federal government wants to ban foods made from hemp. Never mind that you would never catch a buzz from eating anything made from the seeds in the first place. The Bush administration is blind to the benefits because they are getting rich off of keeping it illegal. Between their drug-running operations and their pharmaceutical and alcohol-producing friends, they would be poorer for the legalization of marijuana. It comes back to money and corruption, which is why I suggest that no holder of public office should have any ties to large industry or multi-national corporations. Then there’s that fool in PA, Richie Santorum, I think his name is, who says he doesn’t have a problem with homosexuals, it’s how they have sex that bothers him. Well, hell, he doesn’t have to do it! I believe the government should let people do whatever they want in the privacy of their own home as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone or disturb the peace. Legislating sex and nature’s plants is just wrong! As for gay sex, or any type of alternative sexual activity, just because you aren’t into it, doesn’t mean you can judge others and make them criminal for finding sexual pleasure with someone they care about. Gays, lesbians and TG people do not choose to be that way; they are that way because of their karmic pattern and unfinished business from previous lives. Just like religion or color, you need to learn to accept the fact of differences because God is finding individuality through each of us. It seems oddly hypocritical that religions that allegedly promote peace and love find ways of condemning people who are different. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! Yet, here it is, happening all over again. Or maybe it’s the Crusades again; after all, it is how out fearless leader described it. What is with me? I’m straying into ancient history because Cancer is rising and the Moon is in Gemini, so I want to cover many subjects. Tomorrow night there’s a meteor shower in Aquarius, so start looking east after Midnight. There’s a religious war brewing here, though and it’s because Mars is nearing the conjunction with Neptune and coming into opposition with Jupiter…and the Sun in Taurus and Mercury retrograde are in a square to that very aspect. With Saturn moving off the opposition to Pluto, it’s no longer about who controls the oil. We all know it’s Cheney with his Halliburton contract who controls what goes down. He’s an Aquarius with Moon in Pisces and Venus in Capricorn. His Sun is square to both Saturn and Jupiter, an insecure boy seeks to overcompensate by scheming to destroy his enemies. Working for Nixon, he has a lot of them, if any are still alive. He does have an Aries South Node and Mars is square the Moon, so he has a lot of anger issues, esp. toward his mother and women in general. Transiting Mars is hitting his Sun right now so he’s going to pick a fight with someone, I’ll bet. Are you Syria? You’re next! You know, the funny thing is that the guy in power isn’t quite old enough to have dug a political trench around himself. You see, we are being led by the former heads of corporations who want the resources of the Middle East for their own personal gain. Every time a soldier gets fed or equipped, Cheney makes some money. You know, besides Saddam, there have been numerous Taurus people who are greedy and desire power. Some just have powerful ideas and want things that others have, like Hitler, Lenin, Queen Liz 2, W.R. Hearst, a couple of Rothschilds, Oliver Cromwell, Jim Jones, Ayatolla Khomeini, Ho Chi Minh, Karl Marx, John Wilkes Booth and a whole slew of them, who slew others. There are your great and peaceful bulls like Buddha and Socrates, as well as Carlin and Freud, great thinkers all. But so many are looking for a payday or exclusivity over a place or people. I say you have to develop your own value system and sense of rightness or wrongness about people and events in your life. Only you and your higher self truly command your flight through the universe. Let us be your navigator.
