Many have spoken and few are heard. Such is the way of liberal radio talk shows. The conservatives, who defend the indefensible, justify the unjustifiable and crucify the real crusaders for truth, dominate the airwaves but it’s time a new voice has spoken up, a voice for the people who want a spiritual and peaceful world without religious conflict. The voice is that of the universe, which I call the Uni-Voice. It speaks in terms everyone can relate to, like love and creativity, the real reasons we are on this planet. When you examine the way of the world now, you can see there are several overwhelming problems that were created by dark forces in governments, corporations, religions and military-industrial alliances. There are also major problems that are affecting our health care system because of the greed of insurance and pharmaceutical companies, doctors and hospitals and the politicians those special interests have in their pockets. All of these entities have conspired against the average citizen of the world to make it difficult if not impossible to live a comfortable life without incredible good fortune. Most people can’t afford health care, since the poverty levels have risen significantly in the last few years.

This current administration has done many questionable things and worst of all, they have betrayed the American People. The have lied to us and concealed evidence of their corruption, which is to be expected, given what criminals they are. These aren’t even the Robin Hoods they wanted to pretend to be, altruistically saving the Iraqi people from a despot. There was never any attack planned against the US from the Iraqi regime under Saddam. The reason our soil was attacked on 9/11 was because they allowed it to happen, collateral damage to fuel preparations for a war against an enemy they can never wipe out. This is a war that could have been prevented but it is actually a policy that was developed back in Nixon’s day. Just remember that Bush daddy, Cheney and Rummy all worked for Tricky Dick. We can go back to the origin of the plan to take over the world when Prescott Bush met Nixon in the 40’s and tabbed him for the mission to worm his way up the political ladder until he and the Bush boys could manipulate economic policy for the entire world. With the advent of WW2, military contractors became a big business and oil was a much-needed commodity. After the war, cars began to crowd the roads and under Eisenhower and Nixon, the interstate network began connecting the nations cities. More cars, more gas and oil being used and Detroit created the desire for newer cars as they came out with new and better models every year. This trend continued for about a decade or two until the Arab oil embargo in ‘73-’74 slowed the auto industry. In fact, the recession of the 70’s served as a wake-up call for reforms that never happened. Nixon’s international meddling has created global repercussions that have had devastating effects here and abroad. So the mess we’re in today is a direct fallout of the energy plans of 30 years ago. It is time to face the music. It’s too late to try to fix the gas and oil industries, since they have gone too far into a radical rip-off mentality. Rather, it’s time to replace the internal combustion engine with a cleaner, non-nuclear, non-chemical, non-polluting method of propulsion. There are many excellent scientists out there, so why not give them a crack at coming up with an alternative? Oh yeah, with the Bush bandits in office, being made from the slime that is oil, they have no motive for doing so. It’s time to consider the health of each of us as well as our planet.

On the environmental front, what the Bushies propose is outrageous and impossible to reconcile. Everyone of their policies and laws favors industry and goes against common sense, humanity and the environment. Nature takes care of its own and we don’t need to go out and cut down old growth forests, even though it may benefit the wealthy logging industry. We shouldn’t make every square inch of our planet into an industrial wasteland or a drilling or mining site. But it’s not just the right wing militaristic warlords that are to blame for what’s wrong in this world.

Most religions in the world believe that their way is the one true path of God when it’s clear that all roads can lead there. Instead of fighting over religion, why not agree that there are different ways in which people worship and that each may be valid for them. The main point to focus on is that we are all worshiping the same deity, as there is only one energy in the universe that we may call God or Allah or Jehovah. If there is only one and we are all a part of its energy, we should all accept that we are part of a master plan on this planet and maybe we are being tested to see if we can get along. Perhaps the world needs a charter that grants everyone their right to worship (or not) in a way they see fit, so long as it doesn’t infringe upon others. When you judge people, you judge yourself. You can make an observation that their way is not the way you would choose but don’t be a hypocrite. You have your faults, too. There aren’t too many perfect humans on this world and if they were perfect, they would teach others to attain that perfection, as well. No one faith has all the answers, either. The real power is in your connection with the One within. When you hear the Voice of God, even if it is the guise of a spirit guide or signs of various forms, know that you always have that line of communication. It’s just up to you to open the channel.

One big problem we have is when religious politicians blur the lines of laws versus morality. What people do in the privacy of their own lives, they should be permitted to do, as long as it doesn’t bother anyone, however, if they choose to have abortions or implants, that’s their issue and theirs alone. The government has no right interfering with a person’s body. If you look back in history to the Salem witch-hunts, you can see the hysteria that can be created by the mere accusation. This is precisely the tactics used by the Bush gang. Create fear because of terrorist attacks and then you can rally support for your dirty little wars for gold, oil and drugs.

It all comes down to money. Where does it come from and where does it go? Well, they could account for that at Enron, which is why they and Arthur Anderson collapsed. The Bushies have it coming out of your pocket and into the hands of huge military and oil industry contractors with insider connections. It’s for the wealthy buddies of Cowboy George that tax cuts were implemented but they only benefited the rich while the average guy got screwed. And with tax burdens and wages being what they are, many companies downsized and shipped out work to subcontractors who work for a fraction of the wages. All with the blessing of our president and then he has the gall to announce more jobs opening up as the drill in Alaska. If you followed the money trail of these corrupt manipulators of policy, it would lead you to some of the most obvious but shocking places. And I’m not implying Columbia, Saudi Arabia or Israel, but you can see what I mean. The all have different reasons for wanting to cozy up to us. Columbia needs the US to look the other way because they have an economy based on drugs and we allow them to operate. Israel needs our protection in the Middle East, even if they do have significant strength. It’s not easy to win a war on terror. The Saudis need our business, since we consume more oil than anyone. But from the Republican standpoint, war is always good business.

One of the biggest problems with the economy is the domination of the material resources by a relative few. Huge corporations have taken control of the global market by invading 3rd World countries and poisoning the locals with food that is foreign and toxic to their bodies. After a couple of generations of this influx of evil, whole societies will become sick and die earlier than they would have left to their traditional ways. We can learn how to live in harmony with the land. For an example of what can be done, look back to when the Native Americans roamed freely. Pre-Columbian civilizations were peaceful and land-use was according to what there was available and what could be cultivated. Just because they didn’t have many cities, and there was a large one around the St. Louis area, doesn’t mean they didn’t have some sophistication. There art was more in the beauty of nature as it related to their lives. The storyteller was revered because he related the history of the people and was often the shaman who healed the sick, as well. With “progress”, we have to adapt to new uses for ourselves and the land. Industrialization isn’t always a good thing but it can bring prosperity to indigenous peoples who are sitting on a gold mine of natural resources. Especially if they work the production themselves, then they create jobs for many of their own people, as well as instilling pride in their accomplishments. I have often said we’d be better off if we gave the land back to the Indians. But then, just by contact with Europeans, so many died from disease for which they had no immunity. Many still live on the reservation and rarely leave. They choose not to have contact because they see how most people poison themselves and their world. It is most inharmonious. Voluntary withdrawal from interaction is not true segregation, is it?

The largest corporations are gobbling up smaller ones until there will be only one multi-national, multi-purpose unifying corporation that controls everything. Monopoly and trust-busters need a return to action and we have to break up the Yankees. When you keep control of your best players and are in the World Series for 6 of 8 years, you’ve obviously got a deal with the Devil. Some New Yorkers and others think Steinbrenner is the Devil.

Unfair competition keeps marijuana and hemp products out of the mainstream. This is due to the lies that have been perpetuated by the right wing fascists. In an effort to maintain a status quo with large industries, cannabis was made illegal, not because it’s dangerous or addictive…because it’s not. It was later made a Schedule 1 drug to criminalize it on a par with LSD, heroin and coke. This deed was done by Nixon in his corrupt way to eliminate hippies from the streets who were protesting his policies, especially Viet Nam. So many industries could be affected by the hemp businesses that would spring up, it would be the stimulus for the economy we need. But the greedy, shortsighted policy-making fools have crafted an agenda that boils down to a Nixon/Bush Empire that controls the world through political, militaristic and economic manipulation. Between them, they have dominated the world political scene and it has been a virtual dictatorship since 1952. During this past half-century, we have become a stilted, puritanical, vacuous pig nation, more concerned with material well-being. We have compromised our freedom loving ways and created an oppressive fear-mongering by the Bush gang. They create the hate by angering the alleged enemy. Look at the man they appoint in the Dept. of Defense to seek intelligence to find Bin Laden and Hussein…an evangelical crusader, Gen. Jerry Boykin. Here’s a flashback…he was commander at Fort Bragg when some officers shot their wives and some committed suicide. Maybe we have an idea what drove them to it.

Perhaps we should teach you of true spirituality and let the age of religion pass away. It’s not as though you don’t have to believe in the One True God, just have a different perception of God as the energy that extends through the vastness of the universe and no one can ever fathom the complete nature of that energy. Here is the truth in a way you may be able to comprehend. God works in mysterious ways. Sometimes you just get hit in the head with an idea and it can manifest. Other times it seems like nothing you say, think or do gets you where you need to be. Many people think we are created in God’s image but you see… we have two genders. What has been edited from Genesis is the name of God in the plural. The word “Elohim” means God as more than one being. “Adonoi” is God as singular. Is it possible that God is a Male/Female balance in the universe? We know, being mammals, that both sexes are needed to create a child. At least it was that way before cloning. The fact is, however, that you just cannot take the bible literally. People did not live to be nine hundred years old. You’d die from sheer boredom, especially if your world was small. The symbolic stories were passed down from previous civilizations and we have a resulting hodgepodge of events and people that don’t always string together. What exists of original scripture isn’t even a good barometer of what the people who wrote the book actually knew of the origins. To say that the book is the word of God and then to read so many conflicting stories, why, I just might have to think someone tampered with it to have it say what he wanted it to say. History is written by the victors and those who are wiped out will often disappear from the records. Not too many people can figure out what their story was, as in the case of the Anasazi Indians. They were in Arizona, and then they just vanished. Or did they? The reason Christianity survived is because the Romans couldn’t round up everyone who witnessed something special. The stories spread but became more like miraculous events rather than healings and teachings that were the most significant. He did something that affected enough people that a following came about. When you get enough people believing the same story, it becomes powerful, even when the story has been changed to suit the views of those in power. This is God’s way of teaching what is and what isn’t the true way.

You’re given free will but you want to be accepted by others so try to conform to certain standards. It’s up to you as to what you make happen in your life but yet, most choose to have their lives directed or influenced by another or others. When you gather as a culture, you differentiate what you do and don’t do, what you believe and what you don’t believe and thus, collections of people become religiously adapted to expressing their faith in a particular and rigid way. Ceremony, pomp and ritual creates the patterning behavior and the sermonizing is the hypnotic blend of inspiring concepts and instilling fear. You have to be good in this way or your life will go very badly and you’ll end up in Hell. To be in the grace of God you have to follow these dogmas. Well, people, let me tell you that there is no way you must be, except to be yourself to the best of your ability. God created us to create ourselves. We are continuing the process of evolution that was put on the shelf somewhere back in time when people forgot that they are more than the sum total of all the entertainment experiences they have. They are more than the relationships they’ve had and they are certainly much more than the career they are in or the car they drive.

The religious right has caused you to fear the Arabian terrorist with the radical Islamic views but they are a result of our treatment of them. What’s wrong in the world of religion is everyone thinking they have the only right way to God and that everyone else is wrong. Whether they say it or not, that’s the attitude. So, the way to change the world is to teach spiritual oneness and harmony with the Earth and each other as the path to God. That’s rather impossible when you have international arms dealers and civil unrest brought on by class wars globally so that you always have a war somewhere. This is the very mentality the Right, especially Cheney, has perpetrated. If you create an economy on war, you’re never going to want to work toward peace. Where there is war or oil, there is Halliburton and where they are, Cheney is involved. Their subsidiary, Brown and Root, was involved in backing LBJ throughout his political career and he paid them back by assisting in the assassination of JFK and then going full out in Viet Nam. The Gulf of Tonkin resolution wasn’t triggered by an attack by the VC, it was made to look that way so that we could strike back at them without fear that anyone would think we were unjustified. In the same way, the 9/11 attacks were allowed to happen, even though there was enough intelligence to stop them. We had to have massive human loss in order for the American people to gear up for war. What they didn’t realize is what kind of scam was being run on them. You, the American people, have been punked by the Bush crime gang. All you have to do is open your eyes and begin to see what they have been doing to the world, the environment and the economy to know that they can’t be trusted. In fact, I recommend life imprisonment for the leaders of this conspiracy.

There are answers that I have to questions long asked and my favorite is… Who shot JFK and who wanted it done, as well as who was involved in the conspiracy and the cover-up? The quick answers are…the triggermen were two guys on the grassy knoll, Frank Sturgis and E. Howard Hunt. They were probably former CIA, although nobody knows for sure, but they still had ties to the agency because Bush was in Dallas to make sure everything went as planned. They were there because Nixon told them to do the job. The mafia was involved, which is why Jack Ruby did his part, the Cubans who wanted Castro out were involved, as well. LBJ knew it was going down but I doubt he was directly involved. Of course, the Warren Commission was put together to stop the country from knowing the truth because then they would realize that our own government put its president to death in a sacrificial ceremony of a satanic ritual killing. Magic bullet, indeed! The Warren Commission was a farce, since they were out to make sure the truth would never get out and Gerald Ford was on that commission as was Arlen Specter and Allen Dulles, whom JFK fired as head of the CIA. George Bush was so integrated with these people that they were peas in a pod. If it came out that Oswald were in anyway involved in a conspiracy, it would point to the Cubans andWW3 breaks out. He was the fall guy all along and Jack Ruby had to silence him before he talked to anyone. The next question is why they did it. Bush had a few reasons to have JFK killed. Yale and Harvard being arch rivals had a little to do with it. The complex answer for a simple question is that JFK was ready to pull out the troops in Nam and wanted to disband the CIA, plus he was after Jimmy Hoffa, so he had a bunch of people mad at him. Plus, he wanted the world to be a place of peace and was trying to bring an end to war. Well, the evil men who feed off of war and death weren’t going to let this young peace-lover stay around.

History books have been written to conceal much of the truth because so much of it is shameful on the part of many of our forefathers. Stealing an entire continent from a nation of loosely knit, nomadic heathens is hardly justifiable except in the profiteering minds of those who were granted land in the New World by Kings who though they actually owned this new land. You see, in Native Indian terms, you live in harmony with your Earth Mother and your Father in the sky. Since they had no written language and so few settlers tried to learn their language, they was a rift which to this day hasn’t been fully settled yet. Indian gaming is a beginning attempt to help the first Americans get back on their collective feet. We could do better.

We could recreate the world in a new and better way. First of all, everything belongs to everybody. Since we are all part of the one, we should all be able to experience anything as we choose. And often, we do. We select exactly the behavior or experience we need to become what we must. It is the free will playing out. So, with each lifetime, you are the result of what you selected at the end of your previous incarnation…or what your choices determined you should be in this go around.

Eugenics You might be a part of a breeding program and not even know about it. Prescott supported Hitler because he was in favor of a white supremacist majority. Still genocide isn’t the answer. Also, birth control and government control of breeding were part of the package. It’s strange that abortions have been at issue for these purists because many of the babies that are aborted would likely be of inferior parentage anyway, or worse for the Bush way, mixed ethnicity. Trying to breed a master race through ethnic purity seems to lead to the worst result, because when you narrow the gene pool, you inbreed genetic deficiency. As you increase the variables of genetic combinations, you increase adaptability, the key ingredient for survival and accelerated evolution. GHWB, if you want the New World Order to survive, then get off your breeding program, after all, look at your son, the President. Well, you’ve got others ready to step in…more clones of the ultra-right wing conservative fascists, Skull and Bones Yale grads. Life is a spectrum of many colors and limiting your interest to a small portion of that spectrum is a problem for everyone whose life you touch. When you are out of balance, it affects the equilibrium of others as well. Life out of balance…Koyanisquatsi.

How’s this for a bit of irony…Barbara Bush, the President’s mother, said the Democratic candidates are, using her words, a sorry bunch. Well, Bar, you’ve only to look closer to home to see a sorrier bunch of so-called men. Your husband has been involved in some of the most heinous cover-up because of low down dirty deals and plots he’s been a party to. And your son partied well into his 40’s until his lack of success drew attention to his deficits. In fact, including attention deficit, he’s also created the worst deficit in our history. So, stop pointing fingers if your own house isn’t in order. Your house has been awfully white for a long time. With the exception of the Clinton years, you’ve been in and around the presidential palace for much of the last two-plus decades.

Now, on the outside, impossible chance that Al Sharpton or Carol Mosley Braun were to be elected President, would they call it the Black House? Or was that joke already used in the lame movie “Head of State” with Chris Rock?

In a land of great splendor, we have destroyed much of its beauty and balance. We created enemies just by being what’s wrong with the American shadow…global domination. The very thing we halted in the Germans, the Japanese and the Russians we are becoming ourselves…imperialist. Our allies, or what were our allies, England, France and Spain were once imperialist. I wonder what would happen if no one on Earth could own land…hmm. And if the planet were once again filled with fruit trees and vegetables grew everywhere and you could eat whenever you wanted, would it be perfect then? Would a natural diet in a pristine setting bring about a change in people? It has been shown that when humans changed to a meat diet, there was an increase in violence and it led to more aggressive behavior. Watch the beginning of “2001, A Space Odyssey” again. And at the end, think of yourself as the star child. Born again with a new opportunity to change your life and the lives of those around you. Be free to create the way you must be to become what you are destined to become. I believe we are here to liberate our own self from the demons of the past and evolve into a better person. The spirit has to grow and progress to experience what potentials life has to offer. Never deny who you are, just refine it until you become the best you can be without negating another.

I believe I know the reason John Lennon was assassinated. He represented a threat of a peace-loving renewal in his resurgent career. The Bush/Reagan order was coming into power and didn’t want the left waving their long hair blowing in the wind. Their DARE program and Just say no slogan were meant to steer kids away from drugs while they built up an industry to replace it…pharmaceuticals. You know how George Bailey was told to go into plastics after the war? Had he done so, he would never have had to work a day in his life. Of all the drugs that were being developed at this time, the most insidious is Prozac. This is SOMA from Brave New World…sort of. Everything will be fine, just take a chill pill and get back to work, feeling better already, aren’t you? Well, you haven’t faced your issues underlying the cause of all your anxiety, but let’s just remove your ability to feel anything for a while. And with the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld gang still onboard, you know they want to go to war in the Middle East. Leave it to Bush to pull the trigger on that. You know, bush and beaver are interchangeable as pseudonyms for a female body part, so we should call George, “The Beaver.” And it’s partially because he’s a pussy. He wimped out of Viet Nam and was AWOL for much of his National Guard duty. Hanging on to mommy and her bold opinions, he takes comfort in being told what a good boy he is. She is a very nurturing person, I’m sure, but she has very severe demands of her family and is quite irritable. She also has some problems with real intimacy and keeping her friends close and her enemies even closer. She’s very aloof and detached because business is never about her. It’s always everyone else. The point of a free nation is that no individual or group can tell you what to believe. But it happens. I suggest we send the Aryan brotherhood and all those neo-Nazis off to meet the real Aryan people…those from India and many Middle Eastern tribes. Let them go back to the land of their fathers and go, fight amongst yourselves, boys! You can join the other Jew-hating extremists and people will listen to your message, until they kill you because you’re an American. Hatred breeds more hatred and if we are ever going to solve the problems of this world it will have to come peacefully. War only perpetuates hatred and evil, giving rise to more death and destruction. The Republicans feed off it like pigs at the trough, making money every time a war is going because they supply both sides of the conflict. Then they get paid in drugs, which the CIA covertly funnels into the US and deals directly with the Mafia. So you can see how the Iran-Contra operation may have occurred. The arms went to the Middle East for the Iranians to fight the Iraqis, who we were arming as well as the Russians. Supply side economics means that you profit when you are supplying both sides in a war in which you are not directly engaged. It so happens that the Reagan/Bush plan ultimately backfired when former friends became the bitterest of enemies.

Back to the present, Bush wanting to give money to Iraq as a grant and not a loan reminds me of the rich kid who had to buy friends he couldn’t get by his true personality. Oh wait, this President could have be that kid. His daddy was rich and well connected. I guess little Georgie was a handful of disappointments. He never was much of a finisher. Some enterprising assassin of foreign birth might take it into his head to put the world out if its misery and pop a cap on the top cat’s head. Then it will be his term in office he doesn’t get to finish. Oh crap, but then we get Dick. When he was working for Nixon Cheney was referred to as the little Dick. He has a complex to this day where he defensively says that it’s of average size. I don’t understand why we even need funding while there since Halliburton should suck everything worth taking out of there by the time Iraq is rebuilt, according to the master plan of the master race who is trying to build a New World Order in their image. It’s total corporate takeover, the ultimate in fascism. You’ll see franchise rows spring up all over Baghdad so enough. No more falafel stands only. Burger King is already big there, at least among the servicemen. Little George is a spoiled child in his dealings with the Congress. He be saying he won’t take no for an answer and that’s what a dictator does. How about listening to a body of people, every one of who can beat out your intellect by a major margin.

I love this country and maybe because I grew up in the city where the Declaration of Independence was written, having visited the very house where it was written and having seen the original up close, as well original drafts, I can say it has profoundly affected my perspective of what this country was founded upon. Give me Liberty or give me Death is more real when you know Patrick Henry said it just before the revolution. When men like Thomas Paine and Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson are more than just names in a history book but really vital parts of the foundation of our country, it may be due to learning so much about them when you were in school and when your class went on trips to places where history happened and the 250-year old buildings are still there. When right-wingers say left-wingers are communist, it’s insane. We want our own things and money and don’t want to have to be a part of a collective farm. On the other hand, we can also see where sharing the garden of Earth’s beauty would be a good thing if we could figure out a balance between what is mine and what is yours and what is ours to share.

I believe we have far too many people judging others with a narrow vision of right and wrong. You are born to be a certain way that is then influenced by the circumstances and surroundings that may be detrimental to your worldview. A good person can be hypnotized by TV or by the CIA to go out and commit a murder. They may have no recall of the incident but it still happened. Is the person truly responsible if they were not in control of their mind? There have been many assassins who have gotten away with murder because they disappear after committing the crime and may be eliminated by their own people, as in the case of Ruby killing Oswald and the vanished trail of Hunt and Sturgis. The reason those two were also involved in the Watergate break-in is because of what they were doing that day in Dallas. Hunt was saving his own ass as much as Nixon’s. Ah, but I don’t want to seem like the conspiracy theory corner and I shouldn’t since these are facts. I want you to know what your government has done to you in the past and what they continue to do today that doesn’t promote the kind of world you deserve. To the Nixon/Bush right, these actions must have seemed justifiable, although extreme is putting it mildly. Checking out the fantasy sequence of what would have happened if…JFK and RFK weren’t assassinated. I guess if JFK had pulled us out of Viet Nam and then when Nixon enters office in ’68 he sends troops back in, then it would have been suspicious…but wait. Nixon also ordered the hit on RFK so he could win in ‘68. If that hadn’t happened, by ’76, after two terms of Bobby, maybe Nixon would make war against the Arabs…oh yeah, if Teddy is sober and hasn’t killed anybody in this alternate timeline, he could have become president, too. But see, when you are corrupt and want power, you stop at nothing to get it, including killing great and visionary leaders. While I’m on the topic, Nixon was probably behind the murder of MLK as well. He could never get to Castro, however. Ah well, too bad, Dick-head! All the American corporations that had business in Cuba lost it to nationalization, so they pressured Nixon to overthrow him. This is where the CIA begins some of its earliest dirty work. They work for the far right fascist business-government alliance. The globalization patrol, you might call them. They are soldiers of fortune, literally making a killing on drugs, weapons and marketing war itself. You have to create a need for your wares.

Politics and murder make for dangerous bedfellows. Events like that can plunge the war into war like in 1914. But then, every war is murderous in some way. It comes down to two simple principles. One is not being able to accept the other entity. The other is desiring what they have. Often, those are due to you not being happy with yourself. You’re not digging deeply enough if you have to invade someone else’s space to get what you think you want. After you get it, it doesn’t often have the same value to you as it had to the original owner. A case of sour grapes may be it and it makes you bitter when you start resenting others. Look inside. I know it’s easier to blame others for your miseries but the truth is often your energy output. You radiate a certain energy pattern and people experience it very viscerally, not conscious of why they respond to you as they do. It’s part of the cosmic waves you’re riding. So don’t wipe out. Hang ten and boogie down the beach, baby.

What’s wrong with gay marriages? Isn’t it a good idea to keep homosexual couples off the street? I’m kidding of course but to hear the conservatives talk about it, gay marriage will erode the very foundation of the institution of marriage. I disagree and for a reason different than most. We are spiritual beings having physical lives and through our evolutionary journey, we have been both genders. So when two people meet and they sense a soul connection that exists through time, they can only respond in the way their soul leads them to, as in falling in love. That the person is of the same gender doesn’t make a difference to the soul. People don’t choose a gay life because they are genetically wired to prefer a certain gender. It doesn’t matter how you acculturate them, they will still lean a certain way, especially in the case of transsexuals who are born with XXY chromosomes and are often more female than male in interests from an early age. No one taught that boy how to be like a girl. Most boys wouldn’t go there but the genetic predisposition impels the special ones to transform. There is also a problem with the general populations reactions to this people. They think of them as queer, strange, bizarre or sick and twisted. But the scientific evidence shows they have no choice, they have to become what they need to be. It’s almost an immutable law of nature to have each organism to seek out its true self-expression. Why one can’t accept that is based your own prejudices, wherever they come from. If you become aware of your spiritual bi-gender self, you’re more likely to tolerate in others. Maybe that’s what some of you need to work on.

As for the tendency of America to lean to the right while the media leans to the left, I say it doesn’t wash. It’s a known fact that 70% of the population are like sheep and will follow anyone that makes a decent amount of sense. People are inherently gullible because they don’t read enough or study the issues and candidates enough. First of all, the Jews don’t own all the media or run all the Hollywood studios. Maybe back in the 30’s and 40’s it was that way in Tinseltown, but now, with huge multi-national conglomerates buying up mega-corporations, there’s no owner to identify. They represent sponsors and that means big business is at the bottom of the entertainment industry. They want you to buy their merchandise and use their services and spend millions of dollars to make you know about them. Even if they aren’t telling you what the product does. Ask your doctor if it’s good for you and he’ll prescribe medication you don’t need. Television isn’t about what you need to know, it’s about what the industry wants you to know and it isn’t much. Censorship happens on a wider scale than you can imagine. Because the people with money don’t want you to know that they are robbing you blind. As for the money that runs this country, a lot of it is old money or oil money. Some of it is sports money but they have little interest in running the country. Well, after Bill Bradley washed out last time against Gore, I guess jocks were put on notice.

Back in 1994, Newt Gingrich developed his Contract on America and began his vitriolic tirades against Liberalism and everything Clinton stood for. The Patriot Act is the beginning of neo-McCarthyism, a plague that eroded trust and promoted paranoia in the 50’s. Let us hope that people will see the light of truth and oust the village idiot and his band of villains. Every law they break and every war they make, every bank they break, every truth the fake…we’ll be watching them. Creating an environment of fear, they play people against each other so everyone is a possible terrorist! With this mentality, it could become a self-fulfilling prophesy. It is enough to make the average person mad as hell at the federal government and say to themselves, “I have to do something to change this flawed system.” Being able to have to choose between candidates, left or right is an easy choice, but it shouldn’t be the only way to do it. One thing the recall in California taught us, it’s that there can be many valid points of view and many roads to take. The election became a popularity contest and Arnold was the actor, learning his lines and repeating old standards. But anyone who ran against him was in financial trouble from the outset. What if we truly had FREE elections? Anyone with a platform and a budget proposal that makes sense should be given an opportunity to speak to the public. The heading of free speech also comes to mind. A true patriot wants to serve his country, whether militarily or politically, but you can’t do it if you breathe red, white and blue. Patriots need not be invaders or their supporters. They need only believe that their country is worth living in and, as such, worth dying for. It is not the American way to make war on anyone without provocation or reason. And when war is needed, a formal declaration is made by congress, not an action initiated by the President and his henchmen. The justifications for war have to make sense. Otherwise, it’s using the military for the monetary benefits of democracy. The GOP wants to gain money without concern as to where it comes from or whom it harms. More profits come from lands of oppressed people under a dictatorship.

Communist governments own their businesses. In Fascism, big business owns the government. I guess it’s better than royalty owning everything and dolling it out with a pittance here and there. The Church seemed to own everything at one time. Prior to that, the Roman Empire extended farther than most domains. Before that, there was tribal life, some nomadic. It might have been better when it was simpler. But if you have a collapse of an economic system, the only ones who will survive will be the ones who can live off of the land. This land was to be the land of opportunity, but when the little mom and pop shop goes under because a Wal-Mart has moved into town, it just isn’t fair. When the family farm goes bust, it may be the huge agribusiness that did the deed. The greedy people can’t help themselves. It’s like an insatiable appetite. How much money is enough? Winners of lotteries and the very rich should be given a choice. Either pay taxes or use the equivalent and help the homeless by creating a shelter/apartment bldg for the poor. They should be given jobs and medical care onsite and be assisted in getting back on their feet. The idea is to change the welfare system to workfare in a fair and equitable way, where one helps the other. Giving back to those less fortunate is a more direct use of their money and they can even go down and help out and supervise to see how their investment is going. For if they can transform people from a deficit into a profit, they benefit society as well as themselves. Not everyone is able to work and for that, we should have a welfare system. Taking care of your own should be a priority, especially when your government has allowed increased pollutants into the ecosystem and hands over the open lands to oil drilling and lumber companies. We keep getting sicker because of chemicals and poisons that are a by-product of industrialization. The conservatives spin it as progress. I see it as destruction of the planet. They have sold you a bill of goods and you spent far too much on it. They have allowed more pollutants into the air, water and ground than at any time in the last 30 years, giving polluters tax breaks and making you pay for it. The questions begs, is it a democracy if you are not free from debt because the top one percent rob you blind with the government’s cooperation? Indeed, they are partners in crime and the common man or woman doesn’t stand much of a chance. There is a rare 5% amongst the intellectually adept who may break the wealth barrier by ingenuity and individuality and determination.

It’s called marketing and Madison Ave in New York used to be the brand name that meant advertising. Everything is merchandising and globally distributed by multinational corporations wanting to get a piece of the world market. In the process, Americans as well as foreign countries have gotten screwed up and down. Why not have American technology and manufacturing design and build things here and ship them abroad to restore the balance of trade? Why not employ Americans of whatever national origin they may be and pay them a living wage right in their own cities? Back to the business of business…they want you to use their products or services so they program time on TV and images on billboards to make you want what they have. It’s almost hypnotic conditioning in TV ads and erotic stimuli on many outdoor ads. They draw you into their world and create a need that you really never had. Our desires don’t help us in a survival situation and are not essential for our happiness. We are conditioned to want to go buy things, never more so than at Christmas, which is a made up holiday, anyway. There was nothing like it 200 years ago. Madison Ave made Xmas what it is today, including the oversized elf. The religion of the pilgrims was not about materialism but faith. They took a lot of things on faith back in the old days.

It's been apparent to me that religion and politics have been wrapped around each other for thousands of years. The USA was supposed to be the vanguard of a new order of the ages. First, we have to put our own ship in order and that's just where both politics and religion have let us down...taking care of the poor. Mother Theresa was sainted for doing just that. But everyone, of both factions, should be doing it instead of feeding at the trough. There is more than enough money to make everyone comfortable enough not to starve and be homeless. Instead, corporations make greater profits at the expense of the labor, hiring non-union whenever they can. Offering part-time employment is their way of avoiding giving any benefits. If more people would stop working for giant corporations and find self-employment opportunities, there would be crumbling at the edges and we can finally collapse the apocalyptic tower of Babel that is the plutocracy. They need poor, ignorant soldiers to fight their wars. If you are the boss, you’re working for the boss. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. The Holy Roman Empire was the next phase of the Roman Empire. Now there are major cracks along those faults and the faults of the priests who wear the vestments are too often sexual. A vow of poverty is one thing and that, in itself, is unfair in the service to God. Jesus, Mary and Joseph earned something for their efforts and labors. As time passes, people tend to mythologize people and events from history, accepting stories as facts even with no evidence scientifically. Religious convictions tend to cause a bias in one’s ideas about life. Politics create bias and worse, it creates enemies. These entities influence your thought and beliefs excessively and the Right-wing media infects the Middle American with mind programming via TV and radio with incessant blowhards telling huge lies and saying slanderous things about liberals. They get on a moral high ground when the see a slight impropriety, like a blowjob. But when it comes to blowing people to kingdom come, even innocent civilians, they have no morals at all.

Even within the government there is factionalization, as Rumsfeld becomes increasingly misunderstood. Many people do not like him because of his arrogance, his defensive nature and criticism of others. Rumsfeld is a socio-pathic, passive-aggressive scheming weasel. He and Dick go way back to the Nixon days, taking Dick under his wing and maybe taking him in other places too. It’s possible that Cheney has secret CIA ties that, if discovered, would put him and many in the CIA out of business. But who would tell…and still live? It’s possible that he had them report the worst case scenario and then add more on to that. He needed some intel on what they had that could incriminate Saddam but had nothing. So they did what the CIA does, they made up stories. Lies grew by leaps and bounds as the information got distorted between the origin and the public announcement of it. In spite of all the petty disagreements amongst the individuals, there is still a greater agenda at work here and until every man, woman and child in America knows it, we will continue to be oppressed by an unfair system of ill-advised global pillaging.

You have to be objective or a liberal to see what the RRR, the Repressive Rightwing Regime has done to this country in the last fifty years. First there was the baby boom that accelerated suburban growth and created the need for multi-car families, which in turn got America addicted to the car culture. This lead to an increase for a demand of oil and gas, straining our own reserves, so we went out and got take-out from the Arabs. OPEC then held the gun to our heads in the 70’s raising gas prices and beginning the war for oil. All this has been because of the Nixon/Bush axis of evil and their desire to control the planet’s resources. Well, the acrimony that has built up from the intrigue caused by Bush and his daddy in the Mid East with the Saudi royal family (real family values there) involved up to the hilt is creating a backlash against the Bushies. They’re creating a war to last forever. We don’t stop until the job is done and the number of Islamic extremists is increasing because they are catching on that globalization being bad for them. We could be at war a long time. And what would we do to end it? Drop nukes? I would hope not. That would indeed be a war to end all wars because it would destroy the Earth.

Intimate partner abuse, elder abuse and child abuse have no place in a civilized society. Abuse is often created by toxic emotions generated from a variety of sources. One of the prime sources is stress but it may also be the substances used to combat it. If you use drugs or alcohol to relax, you’re adding fuel to the fire and the problems will only multiply in the long run. The build up of these toxins will harm your brain cells so significantly and yet so incrementally that you don’t know what’s happening to you when you begin to lose it. This includes tobacco, which contains the powerful addictive, nicotine. Too many poisons in the system can alter your behavior and while you might have been a nice person once upon a time, time and habits have ravaged you and you never noticed it happening. We can all stand to see ourselves with a more objective eye but we can also look and see what’s been going on to mold us into a certain image. Some drugs are much worse than others. I can’t see someone going into a rage because they OD’d on blood pressure pills. However, a Viagra rape might be likely. And we all know that speed is a dangerous drug, especially someone who is already prone to anger. By comparison, LSD, created by the government to influence spies to talk or soldiers to do crazy things, is relatively harmless. There are stories of bad trips but it’s the circumstances more often than not. Left alone on acid, you’d have a visually stimulating and intellectually questioning time. Someone who’s on pot or heroine isn’t likely to assault anyone, but crack heads and speed freaks are notorious for their lack of consideration in their actions. Alcoholics are a varied bunch but the rowdiness can be a problem, depending on how far it goes. The images of bar room brawls in westerns and even modern stories are legion and nobody ever seems the wiser for the experience. We abuse each other with remarkable regularity in all manner of ways. If it’s something as simple as getting into line at the movies ahead of a big party or getting back extra change from your $20, we love getting the upper hand. It’s human nature to be competitive. It’s when we cross the line into ruthlessness, winning at any cost, that we ride into trouble. The worst kind of human mistreatment is that of someone helpless or innocent. It’s one thing to beat up someone who assaulted you in the first place. No one would judge you for getting your anger out at them. When someone is small, weak or old, you have a duty to help them and appreciate the fact that they can’t do everything and need someone a little more together than they are. You just have to think about it to see the issue.

It doesn’t help that Bush gets his news filtered, edited for his limited comprehension by his staff. If he isn’t in touch with the truth, won’t hear it, can say it, then we’re all in a heap of trouble. He can’t be completely responsible for what’s going on since his VP and cabinet make most of the decisions. He just okey-dokes them along and is the front man for important announcements. He’s defensive about being in denial and in denial about being defensive. The ego and arrogance of a man like that who would go back to 43-year-old policies regarding Cuba is astounding. What he doesn’t realize is how transparent he is, considering whom his advisors are on Cuba. The fascists who so oppose Communism are in his inner circle on the subject.

It seems like these Republiscams are adept in Newspeak, where war is peace and wrong is right, as long as the ends justify the means. The war in Iraq was manufactured from made-up “evidence” and lacks any legal justification. A Democrat wouldn’t unilaterally invade a country and go to war against them. The GOP sees the picture as us vs. them whereas a liberal sees it ass trying to work out a solution to the problem. Why else would Jimmy Carter have gotten the Nobel Peace Prize for his peace making between Israel and Egypt. It was so good that they still haven’t had much conflict since. Even though Muslim extremists assassinated Anwar Sadat, they’ve managed to stay cool with each other. There’s enough terrorism going on in the world without Egypt chiming in. Besides, they were always a peaceful culture. Arabs haven’t had it that easy with the extreme economic disparity between the rich and the poor they have. It’s worse than the USA.

With the kind of delays the administration has used to prevent to truth about 9-11 from getting out, you’d think the Bush people were complicit in the attacks…or had knowledge and didn’t prevent the attacks from happening. To have such collateral damage all in the name of rallying the American people to cry for blood merely allowed Bush to redirect the anger away from the Saudis, who are our “Allies” and onto Afghanistan and the Al-Qaida. Then, with no solution to that conflict, as in no Osama bin Laden, they move on to Iraq, which was planned from the before the Bushies took office. The greedy bastards wanted the oil, which is why they have no intension of developing electric or even hybrid cars in the USA. They are making them in Japan because they understand the future in Japan. Another reason for eliminating the Taliban from Afghanistan and Saddam from Iraq was to facilitate the growing and transport of heroin through the region. It’s a part of the shadow economy the Republicans bank on.

There was always a conspiracy theory regarding the existence of a shadow government, and they exist in the form of private sector, former high office holders in the federal government. The Carlyle Group has several former such people, including the former president GHWB. His father, Prescott, was also such a player in manipulating world economic and political battles. We’ve let them become powerful because we’ve allowed them to dictate how we live our lives. They have us becoming obsessed with consumption of goods and foods to the point where life has lost its meaning. We’ve been programmed by TV, radio, movies and billboards as well as the print media. Because the administration is heavily involved in oil, there’s little chance we’ll see many electric cars around. With many high level government officials having experience in the private sector before their party took power, it’s a conflict of interest, to say the least when their proposals seem to benefit their friends the most, as in Halliburton and Bechtel. Enron was involved in the energy strategy meetings with Bush and Cheney, who are old pals with Ken Lay. Enron was like a pyramid scheme when a few get rich and a lot people lose a lot. That’s where the Bush economic program seems to mirror Enron’s. When you know the enemy, it’s easier to figure out what he’s up to. Since there are so many ties to Nixon, the Bush family, Rumsfeld and Cheney, at least, much of the evil, conniving ways had to have rubbed off. Nixon had every conversation taped so he could use them as a manipulative tool, blackmailing people into compliance. Nixon was the first to use the CIA for his own personal gain as well as the fortune for his friends in the military/industrial complex. This includes makers of everything from rations to weapons and vehicles. War is good for the Republiscams because it stimulates their economy. Creating enemies by saying “Bring ‘em on” is ludicrous and then letting Rummy appoint General Boykin whose comment created controversy because he preached to Right wing Christians about our God being stronger than the Muslim god, which is an idol, anyway. This isn’t the kind of person we need representing the USA…ever! When his words got printed, it looked like we were installing a KKK man into a political firestorm.

Addressing the United Nations, the only point Bush made that he thought would get a favorable response is to work to bring an end to child prostitution. Even there, he doesn’t understand global economics and disparate cultural values. Some kids have no future other than in the sex trade because of the limited economy of their countries, made so by large US corporations, the World Bank and the IMF. It’s actually human instinct to be drawn to a member of the opposite sex who’s more experienced than you. For centuries, even millennia, older men married young, virginal women and older women had young, virile men. Our Puritanical reactionaries have taken out the nature from humans and imposed laws that are allegedly from God, but God doesn’t make this stuff up. He lets you make mistakes so you can correct yourself later. Making more laws creates more problems by creating more criminals, as if our justice system isn’t already overloaded and our jails and prisons already overcrowded. Education is the key to deterring crime. Teach your children to have self-confidence and awareness of others. It sounds simple but bad parenting is the root cause of many of our social issues. Help your kids understand the difference between a genuine and caring person and an evil predatory one by not giving them mixed signals. They say love and hate are very close because of the emotional intensity with which both are expressed. Well, when a guy online tells your teenage daughter he loves her and wants to marry her, it’s isn’t appropriate in any way, shape or form. First of all, he’s often in a state of arrested development, wherein a childhood trauma froze his emotional growth at some point before maturity. Pedophiles aren’t a very pleasant group to come to terms with. Most men would like to kill them and women would run from them, hanging on to the their children for dear life. Although there have been few studies, I would guess that most are extremely immature, unable to sustain an adult relationship with any intimacy because they had stopped their evolution at an early age, often around puberty. According to some researchers, another theory is the Abused Abuser. The repeating patterns are found often in aberrant or criminal behavior. Sickness manifests in many ways and is often treatable. Why load up a prison when you need a hospital or psych ward? Stop the insanity and get some help. Everyone who has socially related issues should see a good astrologer. We could solve so many of the world’s problems if the people causing them were to have some decent counseling. Castro could have played for the NY Giants baseball team with Willie Mays had things gone a little differently. Sometimes the ball takes a funny hop.

Legal Misjudgments

Let’s not reward stupidity with huge settlements for frivolous lawsuits. If a person puts a motor home in cruise control, it won’t drive itself. You have to stay at the wheel and steer, since it only maintains speed. And why would spilling coffee in your lap be the fault of the restaurant? If you harm yourself, why should someone else pay? In fact, this is exactly why insurance rates are sky high. It goes back to the lawyers and judicial system. Let’s try to get by with fewer legal battles and more civility to avoid such conflicts. But no…instead, there are numerous law shows. Half a dozen judges are making pronouncements on TV and bringing their brand of justice onto the people. Well, that’s fine but real justice is played out karmically. You get what you put out. What goes around, comes around, to repeat an overused expression. Reap what you sow. The courts don’t seem to let the punishment fit the crime. A kid places box cutters on airplanes to show how the system doesn’t work and they want to convict him instead of thank him for showing the holes in the system. Maybe we should do what Shakespeare said and kill all the lawyers. But then, one would survive and sue the rest of us.

Adoption and foster care are systems that need fixing and for the last 50 years, there has been little to change. I would propose better screening for prospective foster or adoptive parents. Another option would be boarding school-like communities. Imagine a modern Harry Potter school for the orphans whose talents will be put to use to help them become good people. They will learn teamwork as well as individual responsibility. I could make a modest proposal like Jonathan Swift, but let’s envision the current alternatives. Many are either exploited or enslaved and those lucky to get away from that have a hard enough time avoiding drugs. If we could create a residential school that would teach things students need to understand about life, we could save a lot of lives. The teachers would be surrogate parents, a growing and healing process for them, as well. It would take a concerted effort from different sectors, public and private, as well as an independent educational program specifically designed for the lives of the types of people we’re looking at. It’s tailoring public service to fit the public good and helping a generation that might otherwise be lost. With educational costs rising, it’s all the more reason to improve the secondary education of the next generation. If w can keep them off the streets and in the schools by making education more relevant to their earthly necessities and stop requiring subjects they would never use, we might get more of them to finish. This would mean teaching sex education and drug awareness, as well. Of course, once the evil doctors come in with their vaccines and inject them all with mind-controlling drugs to create the perfect soldiers of the future, we’re all in trouble. However, if we can make this an altruistic, benevolent and humanitarian project, it could be a great future. It could offer an opportunity for a child to become a worthy person of character and substance. Everywhere there are cities there are homeless people who come in all ages. We should help America become great again through education.

All politicians engage in pork barrel spending, if they can swing it. It helps them attain special favors in their district and even opens doors to post-political careers in the private sector. In fact, that’s what Cheney is all about with his company, Halliburton. He has made so much money from the Iraqi contract that he could retire now and never have to work another day in his life. His motives go beyond money, beyond greed, beyond control…it’s global domination and nothing else will satisfy his blood lust. I believe he is a very angry man who probably hated his mother and he’s projecting his anger onto the Mid Eastern world. At least at this time…there may be time for his wrath to be felt in South America, Africa and Asia. He’s got enough anger for everyone. Take a number and he’ll be with you soon. He’s one of the scariest and creepiest politicians I have ever seen. The man radiates pure evil and looks like he’s growling and ready to snap at you, like a pit bull.

The real heroes are the firefighters and no one can say enough about them. But let’s focus on the biggest domestic crisis…health care. In Southern California we have two strikes going on that are both about health care. I will not cross the picket line for the grocery strike and there is no MTA running in the LA area, so 400,000 people are unable to get where they need to go. What do you think about the strikes and the health care and insurance issues?

With Bush pressuring Congress on Medicare and prescription drug benefits, we should look and check to see what could be underneath the passion. Could it be his dad worked for a pharmaceutical company, as did his Sec’y of War, I mean Defense? Maybe if people did a little research into the backgrounds of the people you’re putting your future in the hands of, we would be facing a global conflagration. Peace by annihilation.

The real problem is the way the insurance industry does business and I’d like to hear your stories and opinions on the topic. Have been denied insurance? Let’s talk about all the commercials for prescription drugs on TV…they suggest you ask your doctor if the medication is good for you. I believe there is an unholy alliance between the doctors, the pharmaceutical companies, the insurance industry and the federal government. They are all in bed together and it’s an orgy of financial chaos and corruption, as well as malpractice, fraud and congressional malfeasance. We have created a corporate monster and it’s not going to hide under the bed.

It seems we have a case of Drugs Gone Wild! We have to get off of medication for problems that have more to do with our lifestyle and change the damn lifestyle! If you’re overweight, do live with the problem…do something about it. I did and feel great because of it. I was nearing 80 lbs over what a man my height and build should weigh. But I went to the gym and took up yoga and reduced my eating and have lost nearly 50 lbs. You can do it, too. Don’t be programmed by drug companies! Don’t succumb to alcohol addiction. There was scene out of Indiana Jones recently when a Mayan Altar was recovered after an investigation by archeologists and local and federal law enforcement in Guatemala. Ecuador was raped by Texaco and is seeking 6 billion in damages.

The War on Terrorism: any thoughts from you? This year, Mars, the planet of war, was closer to Earth than it’s been in 60,000 years. We also are going through a massive solar flare. Could that create conditions for such a massive fire? And dies God work in mysterious way or is nature a manifestation of the biochemical reactions of humanity’s impact? Since this is Halloween, we could also talk about ghosts or other spooky moments in your life. I can explain that ghosts are real in terms of being disembodied spirits who haven’t moved on to their next life. My position is that reincarnation exists and we are all destined for another chance at getting our lives correct. If you feel uncomfortable about that, I can tell you it’s a better option than being programmed into believing in heaven and hell. I have never been comfortable with those limited choices and did some extensive research when in my twenties, discovering some of my past lives. Now, with the religious right trying to make a stand on the eve of the apocalypse, it seems Western people don’t want to accept this concept, even though most of the world’s people believe in it.

I suppose it started with the Jews, who were always oppressed or invaded, so they came up with an All Powerful deity, the God of everything. My God is better and stronger than your God. All you have to do is hear what General Jerry Boykin has to say about it. That’s where it began going all wrong. The war of the Gods, Jehovah against Allah in a death match in the squared circle. Who will come out the winner and who will be the whiner?

If you have a path of significant knowledge and wisdom but fail to use it, you are choosing to live in ignorance. None are blinder than those who will not see because they don’t even look. Religion is a method of orthodox techniques to theoretically attain a spiritual oneness, yet few faiths lead to that oneness. Certainly, the children of Abraham can’t get along. The Muslims blame the Jews; the Jews blame the Christians for setting the Muslims off. It’s time to sit down together as a great big family and see what there is to benefit from each other. Let’s haggle a little. Stop using your faith to drive you apart but rather bring you together.

Those of conservative religious temperament have gotten upset by the new gay Episcopal Bishop, even to the point of splitting the church in two. Where is Solomon when you need him? God loves all his children, whether they are gay or straight, transgender or hermaphrodite. There are no exceptions. For you who wait for the end of the world, your rapture has ruptured. There is no evidence that Revelations will happen anytime soon. You may look around and see heathens and pagans and Jews…oh my! You may think it’s the end of the world when your state is being consumed by flames or some other natural disaster, but you’re still here. What happened to your rapture?

When you define God and life as finite, with a form or a beginning and an end, instead of seeing both as infinite, you’ve closed your mind off to the truth. When you have an opportunity to think of anything and be there or do it, and just thinking will get you there, then why limit the scope of your awareness? Narrow-mindedness is a curse of the insecure and the frightened. They don’t want to grow and incorporate new experiences into their lives. The problem with conservative is the proneness to resist change. If you really study history and make connections between events and people then things begin to make more sense. A lazy mind will be easily programmed not to think for itself. It’s easy to attain a consensus amongst Republicans because there are fewer types of conservatives than liberals. There are far more different types of Democrats than GOP. Liberal by definition implies freedom that has many ways of expressing itself.

Really fascinating that after two years of fighting Islamic terrorists, the Justice department has nobody who speaks or reads Arabic. It’s no wonder when you eye everyone of Middle Eastern birth as a possible terrorist. How can they get any intelligence when they have none?

Bush is like a kid who cheats for a test by copying the answers on the other guy’s page but when called on, he fumbles for the right words. Well, that’s him at a press conference, which is why he does so few of them. He’s fine when reading a teleprompter but when his own opinion is called for…forget it. He sounds dumber than Gomer Pyle.

Here’s an interesting perspective about priorities…it seems that Liberals want our troops to come home and help rebuild our own country, while the Neo-Cons want us to go help oppressed people in foreign countries. If you’ve forgotten, this is the Land of the Free. It says right on the Statue of Liberty…Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses. But they have to come here. So now, we have to go over there and take their resources in exchange for saving them from an evil dictator. We’re sinking into debt and bad faith faster than the weather changes in the fall. You are footing the bill for the greed of the few fearless leaders who benefit from this deal. We could have avoided this whole mess had Gore been allowed to serve instead of Bush. The Beaver has chopped down half the forest and he’s not even going to use the wood for a dam. Over-budget and behind schedule won’t cut it in Hollywood but why does Bush get away with it? Oh yeah, he’s the boss. But not if he seriously screws up…and I feel he has. I guess if it’s your game and you make up the rules, you can change them whenever you feel like it. The Bushwhackers have broken so many treaties, they could have been dealing with the Native Americans. They have gotten involved in some very shady business deals, many of which point the way to Big Brother not only watching you but punishing your every wrong step of the way. When you repeat the mistakes of history and allow politicians to be bought instead of dealing democratically, then you have to fix the system. The way it is now could be called, “Whoever has the most money wins.” If we create a special network that covers all the candidates and let them debate or discuss all their programs and platforms, we could avoid much of the corruption that has creeped into American hearts and minds. Take money out of the equation and you eliminate the corporate power brokers who manipulate the economic and geopolitical foundations of our world.

The Spin Doctors of the GOP should be sued for malpractice. They want everything the Dems do to be demonized and invalid. They want to cut the Dems down, even resorting to blackmail and fraud. When did politics become like war where you have to win or die?

Even National Park Rangers have complained and come forward to describe the problems with the laws that the Bushies have relaxed on the environment. This administration doesn’t care about native habitat or endangered species. Teddy Roosevelt established the National Park Service and the US Forestry Service. He was as great a conservationist as any Republican could ever be in the past century. A hundred years later, he must be rolling over in his grave, seeing what is happening to our land by the bozo in his West Wing office.

I’ve figured out that the way Bush likes to fool the public is with opposite-speak. He says he wants to bring peace and freedom to other nations but what he brings is war and devastation, as well as corporations to set up shop as a way of ducking US taxes. When you say the opposite of truth, it’s a lie. And the President shouldn’t lie. He should get his people to do it for him. Well, he covers the play on both bases. Even in his campaign against Gore, he would act like he was for some of the same things as Gore, which served to deceive the voting public. Bush also did what his daddy did before him…character assassination, either through lies or innuendoes. If negative propaganda is spread around and repeated often enough, people begin to believe it, even if it is false. I’m sure if there were such insurance, rates for spin doctor malpractice should be going up.

I can just hear George W. say, “I’m the damn President and I’m supposed to lie to the American people. Isn’t a politician defined by his lies?” Simple folk like him because he’s down to their level. He’s the common man with an uncommonly dim wit. This is man on whom we rely to create a new world? Not really, since it was planned by his father and grandfather long ago and developed with Nixon in the 50’s through the 70’s. Daddy picked up the torch a lit up a few places with it, including Iraq. So, we’ve had a Bush or a Nixon in office in every decade in the last 53 years! This is not a good thing, when you look at the issues we face as a world today. It’s downright frightening, come to think of it. This is either a dynasty or a coup. It’s like the Yankees winning all those championships, only they played fair to win, but in sports, as in politics, you go as far as the money takes you.

Some people rail at left-leaning liberals like Al Franken and Michael Moore but who else is standing up against a Right-Wing government and media? Who else is putting out the truth about what goes on behind the political gamesmanship? I think Bill Maher and Woody Harrelson are making an effort, however Woody has been reclusive and Bill doesn’t have enough regular airplay. Most liberals don’t like attack politics but the methods used by the Right generates the response that is almost in kind for what they dish out. I believe, because I have read and heard, that the blowhard talk show hosts like Rush and Bill O, are indeed liars and exaggerators who distort the facts and promote their Right Wing platform as though they were shills for the President. Well, last I looked, all that flag-waving and yelling doesn’t mean they are true patriots. None of them served in the military. And none of them understands what the constitution is about or what the Bill of Rights really represents, since all they want is a forum to hear the sound of their own voices pumped up with fascist fever. These people remind me of Sen. Joseph McCarthy and the rooting out of suspected communists in the 50’s. But much of that paranoid delusional tattle-tale-ing is good for the country. If our compassionate conservative President wanted to be a “uniter”, let him start with his friend on the far right and unite them with some perspective and sanity. The first thing is to remind people what being an American is all about. United We Stand, E Pluribus Unum, Out of Many, One…we are all part of a great concept of freedom and independence, which means no one tells you what to believe or what to think. It is too easy for simple minds to listen to the delusional ramblings of angry men, like Rush, Hannity, O’Reilley and women, because there is Ann Coulter, the psycho bitch Nazi who rants at the slightest provocation. You listen long enough and you may start to believe them but that is a trap. Repetition doesn’t mean it’s true. They distort what the mainstream media says and turn it with a rightward spin. These radical rightists are cleaning up financially, too, either in TV, radio or books. It’s sad that so many people want to read that separatist crap, since it further divides the right from the left instead of finding common ground upon which we can all relate.

We will probably never be able to all be on the same page until a major force of spiritual evolution washes over everyone on the planet. In the future, there will be a time when everyone accepts you because you are from this planet. You are a human being and not one of those weird alien creatures that has been hanging out and studying us. In some distant day ahead, we will all want to get to know the other cultures in the world and enjoy their food as well as their style of entertainment. We will come to learn to appreciate what we have and try to preserve it instead of using up all our resources. All you have to do is take a look at the changes that have been made in environmental policy by the unaware Bushwhackers. Cut it down, dig it up, mine it and drill for it. Rape the land and leave it scarred, barren and devoid of life for the next thousand years. The people who care are being systematically marginalized and even prosecuted to the extent that Ashcroft would dig up an obscure maritime law for the 19th century to go after Greenpeace.

Boy, times have changed since 1963, when hope was alive and we had JFK and The Beatles were around the bend. We staged a revolution in awareness and consciousness back then that love was the most important thing on Earth. All You Need Is Love…Love is all you need. What puts an end to hope? Fear and hatred, which is what promoters of war want to instill in you. When you realize that the GOP is a War machine, then why let your tax dollars go into a bloated military budget that has no end because there will always be another enemy. These people don’t believe in peace because you fight to make war, so you have to be at peace to make peace. And people like Ashcroft, Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld have a lot of issues. After examining their horoscopes, I’ve observed a weak Mars in each of their charts. This can contribute to an under-active sexual drive compensated for by anger and aggression, sometimes passive. It’s also expressed by proxy with the military being the weapon of division. Divide and conquer, that’s what works, strategically. Cry havoc and unleash the dogs of war.

A true liberal would never attack an enemy, if they could even conceive of another country being a real enemy. The real enemy is hatred and far too many people live with it, yet need to boot it like a bad habit. Ashcroft has helped restore Americans need for a feared and hated enemy. Unfortunately, he has become that very enemy of the people. By taking our freedoms away, he has helped turn us into a virtual dictatorship. He is like a propaganda minister and lets people know who the latest victim, or rather enemy, is. He tries to go after perceived criminals because of his moral convictions… that won’t rest without convictions of the guilty variety. But he sees everyone as guilty of something. He is a religious fanatic with a desire to squash all individuality and have everyone surrender to a higher power…his.

The future with Bush is a bleak world with government controls everywhere and overpopulation due to elimination of birth control, deformities due to increased pollutants caused by unregulated factory and industrial emissions. The impoverished millions scraping by, barely able to subsist because the rich getting all of the benefits and the poor getting no relief. If this continues, we will become extinct. This is like the world George Bailey encountered when Clarence showed what life would be like without him. Only, in the modern version, Al Gore wakes up to find he is the President and the horror of 9/11 never happened. That’s the Hollywood ending. Too bad we can’t travel back in time to November 2000 and make sure every vote is counted. After all, since Bush failed at everything else he tried, why should he win at the election…unless it was fixed. It’s a drag when people cheat and make up new rules for their New World Order. Whatever happened to “Live and let live”? Oh yeah, Corporate America…with a big C, like Cancer. It’s the sign of our nation…the sign of our President…the name of a disease. We are spreading like an airborne contagion and highly infectious.

We live in a gas/oil/coal economy, thanks largely to the RRR, whose agenda is to deplete all the natural resources before converting to a natural alternative fuel source. If wages were raised in the same increments as gas prices, we would be making a lot more money at minimum wage jobs. On average, let’s say that gasoline was hovering around 20 cents per gallon back in 1970. Minimum wage was just over $2 per hour as I remember. Now gas is around $1.65/gal while the min. wage is just over $7. So, while fuel rises over 8x, earnings only rise 3.5x. We should be earning at least twice as much as we’re making now, at least, those who weren’t born with a silver spoon in their mouth. The average citizen can’t afford the luxury of fine dining and expensive cars and cigars. They have to make do with a car that’s 5 years old and needs some body work. Trade-in values are less than they’ve ever been due to the planned obsolescence that’s built into the vehicle. Living paycheck to paycheck makes it hard to afford buying a new car every other year or owning a home. The economy needs improvement and everyone who makes less than 50,000 a year could always use some extra income. We can change the world for the better with the legalization of cannabis and reduce the prison population significantly. Set them free with a joint from the joint.

James Gray, a judge from conservative OC has switched party affiliations from Republican to Libertarian in order to propose legalizing drugs. Marijuana is an especially great product for taxation, if it’s produced and packaged by the state, it could create a multi-billion dollar industry and revenues could used to solve the budget crisis. He’s 58 years old and has a good reputation as a fair judge but he’s tired of seeing the ineffective war on crime eat up dollars and destroy people’s lives. He’s running for the senate seat that Barbara Boxer holds, however and in a democratic state, it’ll be a tough battle for him. I wish he had more of a following and hope he gets his message across because it really is time we took the drugs out of the courts and prisons and into the hospitals and rehab units. What a doctor and patient say or do isn’t our public concern. Let’s eliminate the revolving doors of justice and have a more understanding and compassionate perspective concerning drugs. After all, even Rush Limbaugh would tell you that now. I believe we should go after the real criminals in the drug trade, you know the ones I mean, the CIA and the pharmaceutical companies. It is the covert and the overt, sitting in the pockets of the RRR, side by side, each feeding at the government trough. By passing a prescription drug Medicare package, we have sold our old folks down the path of addiction to pills for the rest of their lives. These lives will not have the joy of experience but the imprisonment of dependency. There are alternative ways of dealing with pain and physical problems but science would rather treat the symptom than cure the cause. What if all diseases were mind-induced. That is to say that your mind is controlling what your body experiences. If your body is tired all the time, then maybe it’s telling you to rest. If you have problems in your gastrointestinal tract, the cause is likely to be your diet. If you have cancer, then you have either internalized negative emotions for too long…or you live too close to a toxic dump. Then there are injuries that are the result of accidents that are not always by accident. Everything happens for a reason and just because you can’t see the apparent reason, doesn’t mean there isn’t a valid, often quirky reason. The universe is all about cause and effect. Actions create reactions and no energy is ever lost; it’s just transferred. This is the precise reason why reincarnation is real. Cause and effect; you do to me and I do to you, quid pro quo and tit for tat.

Freedom is a word we toss around very liberally. The freedom to be yourself without others telling you you’re wrong to believe what you believe. Hey, if I’m not hurting anyone, it’s okay. This has traditionally been the foundation of American ideals; Hands off my private life. But the way the Religious Right has weaseled its way into the political spectrum and coerced lawmakers to pass legislation that reflects their moral principles and strict values. Many politicians talk about family values and don’t live them. This is not what our founding fathers had in mind; In fact, just the opposite is true. Read your history books and do some research into the characters who wrote our constitution, especially Ben Franklin and his protégé, Tom Jefferson. They wrote it for a non-religious country, that it would not be a Christian country anymore than it would be a Jewish country or a Catholic country. It’s time people remember what rugged individualists the founders were. In the spirit of freedom, we must also be spiritually free and not judge on the basis of religion or ethnicity. Yet, to this day, we have not rid ourselves of bias and racism.

One could argue that the founders did not agree on slavery and maintained it as a right of a white citizen to own a person of another color. Several thought it was wrong to own slaves, period. But being landowners and wealthy ones at that, a gentlemen’s agreement was made and the laws had to be changed later. There was a flag of the Revolutionary colonies that read, “Live Free or Die” and another that read, “Don’t Tread on Me.” Based on those sentiments, we were only beginning to be hypocritical. In the Declaration of Independence it states that All Men are created equal and says nothing about women. Plus, it was apparent that it was only white landowners who were the Men in that statement. It makes sense to me why the Northeast US comprises a politically savvy and liberal mentality. It’s because they grew up learning about the constitution and the Declaration and studying the Revolution. They don’t do it so much in California or the rest of the country, as local flavors of history influence school instruction. If we are to be a strong nation, let us rally around a national identity based on the principles with which this nation was built. As times change, laws will be changed to accommodate the evolution of transportation and civilization itself. You can’t keep a law on the books that is no longer relevant. Congress should convene less in Washington and should go home more often to listen to their constituents personally. They should travel around their districts ready to listen and respond to voters who want to be informed and to air their views on how their needs should be met. Government is already so bloated with too many people doing less than an effective job. If Governor Arnold can reduce the budget deficit in California, he would be a hero, indeed. If he did it by legalizing marijuana, he would get my vote. If he stood up to his buddy Bush and didn’t back down, I would idolize him. But he won’t. It’s too delicate an issue. Yet, with all the medical experts saying it’s not harmful, even beneficial, it should be legalized, despite the DEA classification as a dangerous drug. Arnold should know better than many because he used it and he was in peak physical condition. It was a political and economic decision by Nixon to criminalize it. He went too far to try to rid himself of dirty hippies who smoke pot. William Randolph Hearst was the first to demonize it and its users in a smear campaign to get back at the Mexicans, who had nationalized his Mexican holdings, forests and oil, primarily.

Ah, history is always the best story, although it’s better when you get all the facts. That’s why you have to remember history so you don’t repeat it but the facts of history are written by the winners. This is why the truth about the past is never always what it appears. If you read American History books, they begin with Columbus instead of the original inhabitants. You’d need a separate course in Native American studies to learn of the historical relevance of the indigenous people. Many places in this country, including state names and town or city names are taken from local natives. Of course, we took their land and gave them the shit end of the stick but we preserved something of their passing. There are good reasons to let them have casinos now because we held all the cards for over a hundred years. And now, like the African Americans, Native Americans should be respected for their part in the making of this land. Without slave labor, there never would have been wealth enough to create our own country. Lincoln abolished slavery and Kennedy abolished Jim Crow laws the held the black people down and started integration of the South, much to the anger and dismay of George Wallace and many other segregationists. The revolution was underway and this created many enemies. When you have a war machine economy, you seek wars where you can. But this President wanted peace and worked hard to get people working together toward it. It was the Hawks against the Doves and there are still too many hawks for our world to bear.

We could have learned a great many thing from the natives of this land if we had only stopped to listen. Instead of slaughtering buffalo by the thousands to the point of near-extinction was a sure way to wipe out any future supply. Since there was no cloning back then, you wouldn’t have had any more until the Endangered Species Act began to save the wildlife. Even before, there were conservationists who made sure there would always be buffalo. But that isn’t all we needed from the Indians; we needed to learn their spiritual ways and share in some of those beliefs. It would have saved us from going down such a religiously dogmatic path. The point is that God manifests in many different ways to different people.

We have been pushed down a cliff by a bunch of self-appointed rulers of the world. They want our cooperation while they destroy the planet. Every law that has anything to do with the environment impacts it negatively under the Bush administration. What is the greatest crime is the number of elected officials signing off on it. Obviously, they haven’t consulted with their constituents because if they did, they’d find considerable resistance to this evil agenda. I see a new way of government in the future and it takes the internet to do it right. Every piece of legislation coming up for a vote in congress should be pre-voted on by the people of a senator’s state or congressperson’s district. Online, ask the people what they want to do about a certain measure and let the people decide. If this were truly a representative government, that’s how it would be instead of the pork barrel and sweetheart deals.

The biggest hypocrisy is the war on terrorism, since the USA has been the biggest user of terrorism, coups, assassination and insurrections through the use of the CIA since the ‘50’s. Eisenhower wasn’t kept in the loop while Nixon and Bush were just starting their political and economic take-over. The plan has evolved into globalization and privatization. In this way, governments become broke and a select group of the private sector becomes the beneficiary of a corrupt corporate fascist state. The key to it all is to de-stabilize the unfriendly regimes and undermine their networks. Sometimes it creates backlash, as al Quada has shown. After years of Western opportunism, the books that were published in America for the education of Afghani children began to take effect. There was some manipulation of attitudes to create animosity and set the stage for revolution and war.

Friends of Bush will hereafter be referred to as FOB’s, since it’s close to SOB, I think it’s also apropos. These are the people who become richer at the whim of the President and his extremely partisan pals. Many of them are industrial, energy, esp. oil and gas or pharmaceutical connections. There are also military friends and old party friends but mostly GOP friends and religious fanatic friends. Any FOB is an enemy of the environment, an enemy of peace and an enemy of the common working man, whether a union laborer or an independent contractor. If you’re a FOB, you get away with huge tax cuts and no liability for destroying the ecological balance and polluting far in excess of EPA standards. In fact, Bush has reduced or eliminated any federal environmental controls and allowed violators to get away without paying huge fines. That’s one of the secrets to the Clinton surplus; fine the pants off of environmental polluters. Well, maybe not, but it must have contributed mightily.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the Bushwhacker is at it again, this time opening the Alaskan North Slope to oil and gas drilling, destroying a delicate, ecologically sensitive area. If I were running a propaganda campaign against him, a slogan I would use is:

BUSH - Bad for the Environment
- Bad for the Economy
- Bad for Everyone…except the very rich

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wrote an in-depth editorial in the paper the day after the Solar Eclipse on 11/23/03. Forty years after his uncle was murdered and 35 years after his father was murdered in Los Angeles, his voice is now heard in print. Let’s hope he can avoid the curse of the Kennedys. There has been speculation that Caroline might ultimately enter the political world but who can really say. It seems that there are so few great voices to listen to these days. On the radio, you get the conservative windbags and not much else. On TV you get more of the same and MOR reporters who just report what’s happening without letting their opinions be expressed. But such is the conservative control of content that liberals don’t get enough of their opinions out there.

Now, when the right expresses its views, it is often angry lies and innuendoes and when the left expresses its ideas, they have done research and sight references, dates and other points of fact. In a discussion, the conservative will usually resort to name-calling because their position has been exposed as the fraud it is. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but a left-leaner will usually opine regarding the solution that will benefit the greatest number of people, whereas a right-winger will insult you for having an idea contrary to the their master plan. Down deep, many Right-wingers are racist in one-way or another. A true liberal is tolerant of different races and ethnicities, in fact may even enjoy the company of a person from another country. Rightists are ethnocentric and xenophobic, despite this country being the melting pot of the world. I suppose it would be the coasts that are more open and the interior less interested in mingling with those who are different.

Here’s a significant difference between a conservative and a liberal: conservatives like to tell you the right way to live, which is their way and if you don’t accept it, then you’re a communist pig. A liberal will generally accept you for whatever you want to be or do as long as you aren’t taking away their rights and freedoms. There’s no attacking the opposition because there’s already enough to handle without picking fights. Another difference is repetition versus originality. Think about it for a second. A conservative wants things to remain mired in a 50’s fantasy with big cars guzzling lots of gas and the American Dream of a house in the suburbs with a family and all the trappings and luxuries of the modern era. Reality is the multi-ethnic gumbo that is the diversified populace of this country. They bring their cultures and foods with them and life is becoming a great American Fusion. And the Right HATES IT! They have contributed heavily to the inability of most citizens being able to achieve the American Dream…or to be able to afford it.

When the main source of moral guidance is only one book, then you have a bit of a problem. When that one book has text that has been crafted to manipulate everyone who takes it as gospel, then minds get programmed into a submissive state and accept the will of their perceived leader. As though religion were a drug to numb people into a stupor of acquiescence, many politicians have used religious references to exploit that seeming connection. The religious conservative Right has been using political friends to advance their influence, which runs counter to the Founders’ vision of separation of Church and State. Among the more galling things they’ve done is send in Christian missionaries with the troops to Iraq, as if they don’t have their own religion already. I believe any belief system that portrays suffering and murder and betrayal has a lot of negative thought and I would naturally be disinclined to accept its tenets. The Bible was patched together from many writings of many different authors throughout many centuries. The Old Testament was a collection of several authors and records much history that was oral tradition for centuries before writing began. They kept adding to the 5 Books of Moses after he brought them to the Promised Land and things have never been right since. All the different books are from different times and different histories, often by different authors as well. The same is true of the New Testament. Some of the writings are from people who actually knew Christ but they were edited out and replaced with hearsay and whispering down the lane stories. In the Gnostic Gospels you can find the words of the disciples and Mary Magdalene with fascinating insights into what we’re missing. To know what Jesus said is more important than what other people thought about what he said. If we could travel back in time with a video recorder, that would be the time to do it. Without interfering in what happens, just record the three-year ministry and edit it down to a mini series. Publish the real teachings of Jesus and you would put every church out of business, I almost guarantee you that. He never wanted it to be a business, nor to use it to judge people with it. As I have love the least of you…the ugliest, meanest and worst person even has the love of the creator. So why must you judge your enemy, especially since you don’t even know them? God is not a wrathful, vengeful God anymore. He gave that up in the Middle Ages. As the Renaissance, he lightened up a lot and let people create their own karma. God is eternal, loving and forgiving…no matter who you are or what you call God, it’s still the same God. So when Gen. Boykin says, “My God is better and stronger than your God. Your God is just an idol”, he doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about. It’s the same God! There is only One!

Misguided perceptions plague this administration as international policies continue to show the foolhardiness and self-interests of the man and his friends. A case in point is the European Union wanting a constitution and a United States of Europe, which the Bush Klan is decidedly against. Hmm, could it be that their union might make them a threat to the US? Well, maybe not militarily but economically, certainly. And since money makes the world go around, this is a threat. And they wouldn’t need our help so much as in the past. Europe can take care of its own problems…but they wouldn’t need us so much. And Bush likes to be needed. So, while they try to succeed in the Middle East to have supremacy in the Gulf and have vast reserves of oil and gas, they have let diplomacy and world governance fly out the window. This very type of bad faith and ill will creates hostility that leads to terrorism against us. You get what you give in the international and universal spectrum of things. It is the circle of karma and the circle of life, but a blind man can’t see that. For most of his term in office, Bush has been plagued by an astrological affliction that prevents him from logically analyzing and communicating information that is substantial and valid, as well as relevant. In other words, he has been deceptive, confused, misled, misunderstood and wayward in his judgment. He has entered the land of Opposite Speech, where everything he says is the opposite of what he really means. When he says we’re in Iraq to bring freedom to the people, when was the last time we had a war for liberation that went as planned since WW2? Superior intelligence wins wars whereas inferior intelligence is rampant in the Bush Administration. Fanaticism, restriction of freedom, fear-mongering, war-mongering, denial, withholding information from 9/11 investigators have all come under a degree of fire but the wimpy press has been so intimidated by the Republicans strong arms that they won’t say much against the President. It’s as if the press corps forgot what they put Clinton through and all he did was get a blowjob. Bush is screwing so many people he would get AIDS if it were sexual.

France has been unfairly targeted by Bush and his people who incited many citizens to be more rude than the French, throwing out French wine and French products, boycotting them, avoiding France as a travel destination and forgetting that without them, we never would have won the Revolutionary War. We would not have many of our finest American wines were it not for the enterprising French people who brought their vines with them to these shores. We would not have many words in our language and fine foods on our tables. There would be no State of Liberty without them and we would all have to bow to the Queen and sip tea at 4 PM with dry biscuits that taste like cardboard. No berets to wear, nor champagne to drink and culture would be a lot less flamboyant without their elegant influence. People are really stupid when they follow stupid people who say stupid things. If you were to analyze the speech patterns of the President when he’s speaking informally, he’s simple-minded, which may be why so many rural and uneducated people relate to him. He’s a man of the people. But what if they found out that he has sold them out?

Selling us on a war we didn’t need is one thing. Selling a drug benefit package that only worsens the Medicare program is criminal! An enlightened President would open the door to alternative therapies and reduce dependency on pharmaceuticals. An enlightened President would see that oil reserves won’t last for the lifetimes of our children so we should begin to use renewable energy like electric, solar and magnetic. I am very surprised that some scientist hasn’t come up with a magnetic perpetual motion engine with two powerful magnets of the same polarity repelling each other to create force…or some such method. Hydroelectric power can be modified to use waterpower without damming up an entire river, allowing fish and other water life to flourish in natural habitats. Diverting a percentage of the water through turbines and returning it to the stream after it has cooled can be achieved with the right dedication to developing this technology. Conservatives want to do things the way they’ve always been done because their friends are getting rich off of old technology. It’s possible that the Dot Com bubble was burst by corrupt intention as much as it was by people trying to get rich on a lame idea with no product to back it up. What if the conservative element in Wall Street observed that these newly rich geeks were making a killing on the market and they decided to put a stop to it? The only people with big money should be old money, is their motto. These rich old dudes are killing the American Dream for everyone but themselves. It is time to change to guard and put out the dogs.

There was a move during the Clinton administration to get Detroit to make electric cars and there were a few who began (Saturn and Toyota) but that stopped right after Bush took over. If you want a hybrid, the only country that makes them is Japan because they are a country that has always leaned toward the future. The Bullet Train and small, efficient cars are a part of their streamlined transportation system. Factor in the limited space and the huge population, it only made sense as a matter of necessity.

Colonizing Mars may be the reason Bush wants a base on the Moon. I’m sure he’s heard about the potential of mining operations on Mars and the Moon. I believe it’s a fool’s mission going there when the problems here are so bad. When half of the world’s population is at or near the poverty level, it’s time to seriously reconsider our values and expenditure of resources. To what end do we pursue our own destruction? I propose the next flight to the moon has Bush on it…one way. You can bet Cheney would never get elected on his own because he’s so evil looking only the staunch Republicans would vote for him. In fact, I believe that many members of the GOP are motivated by greed more than need and usually make sure they get a fat payday for their efforts. Few do this for the satisfaction of putting their country on the right path. Too many people, like Bush and company, use it as a private bank and business-networking club. Get money and work for your friends and get your kids ready to follow in your footsteps. We need more integrity regarding money in this world. We need to cease basing our economy on oil and gas and develop a fair and equitable trade agreement with the rest of the world. We have to stop tapping out our natural resources and begin utilizing renewable ones.

In the war of words, it’s interesting that the Republicans are picayune about words and not concepts or principles. When John Kerry was rebuked and asked to apologize for saying the “F” word regarding the Bush Iraq strategy…or lack thereof. He said it in Rolling Stone, where it is said frequently. He served in Viet Nam and said plenty worse out there in the rice patties and jungles. In fact, two words, Snafu and Fubar are acronyms from the Army during WW2. Situation Normal, All Fucked Up and Fucked Up Beyond All Repair is what they mean.

I am really tired of the Bush-ocracy that has been rammed down our collective throats. It’s like choking on a chicken bone and no one knows the Heimlich maneuver. We can’t seem to get it loose and we’re going to die if we can’t shake the evil thing out. There is an agenda to remake the government and the world into a Bush-ocracy, allowing Friends of Bush to prosper and get tax breaks, too. It’s the people who make up 99.5% of the population that gets screwed.

These principles will help to save our country and remedy what ails the world, as well. It’s time to put our actions where our spirit is.
