This is the first of four Pisces shows and in these I will try to help you understand what we have been living through during the last two thousand years and what we have to resolve in order to move into the next stage of human development. I suppose it's only right to talk about some of this now, with a holy war simmering, as religious factions line up and point fingers at each other. Mercury and Neptune are in close contact and they oppose Jupiter, so you may get more truth about the lies and deception that you have endured than you may expect or even want. But I know many of you like hearing the truth and don't want to have to listen to the crap people from internationally owned media magnates give you. Last week's show was on the day of international peace protests and anti-war rallies, where 5 and a half million turned out to protest war and invasion of Iraq. The people of the world have spoken. Out of 155 member nations in the UN, only four support the US in our war plans. Who are these brave peoples? England, Australia, Kuwait and Japan. It seems the world is telling us not to go fight. Besides, wouldn't a sniper be less messy? There's got to be someone close to Saddam Insane who can dose him with some bio-toxin and put him to sleep…forever! I will speak of things that are in the news, so politics, religion and sex as well as anything else people may consider taboo will be talked about. It's stuff that needs an astrological perspective. Saturn and Pluto are about as close as they will ever again be in this part of the cycle. The threat of nuclear war with North Korea rather than Iraq seems looming larger. It seems someone was asleep at the strategy wheel. I don't even want to think of how it would turn out if we got into trading bombs. Ask the Japanese. As for the Piscean Age, which is winding down, we have been victims of institutions who have thought they were able to get away with taking our power and self-determination away. I am referring to the institutions of religion and politics, the very things people don't want to discuss. If you empower people by giving them money, they will use it and hold you down, preventing you from even benefiting from your own generosity. If everyone in the US decided that the IRS was an illegal operation and refused to pay your taxes, the government would grind to a halt. And you know that actually might be a good thing. I'm not promoting anarchy, by any means. I think it's important to know where your tax dollars are going and if the federal government doesn't want to listen to its people, they we can withhold their paychecks. This is only an opinion, mind you, not a recommendation. The reason our political landscape is so screwed up is because our spiritual perspective is really messed up. The religions that have separated us into factions of believers in the same God have called God by different names and claimed exclusive domain under His Name. There is only one way to personal enlightenment; understanding yourself as a cell in the body of God. At one and never separate, how can you have problems with others if you recognize their divinity, too? If you love yourself, knowing yourself, how can envy another? They may be further from self-realization than you! The Church kept the masses of humanity ignorant during the period from the end of the Roman Empire until the Renaissance. The only way you could read is if you learned it at a church school and it was always in Latin. Agents of the Church went all over collecting and burning books of all sorts or taking them off to store in the vaults beneath the Vatican. I've talked to someone who had actually seen some of those vaults a long time ago. When you want to control the people, you limit their ability to learn anything that diverges from the kind of information you are force-feeding them. Getting confessions from sinners was a way to make people feel guilty for everything and keep them miserable in Earth life, promising them eternal salvation if they but do penance and believe in the one true path to God. But God is reachable for everyone because He/She is in you and all around you. That's another thing that bugs me. God's house isn't the Church, since all of nature and the universe is God's domain. In my father's house there are many mansions…as many as we could ever hope to experience. Indeed, that is the reason we are here in the first place - to experience first hand and become what we want to become. We all want to believe in a savior or a redeemer but I have to tell you, he isn't coming to rescue you. He's leaving that up to you. You have that power in yourself to save your own soul by making better choices that are more attuned to your own real self. You have to use your prayers and tell yourself what you wish to manifest, since you are God's vessel. Many of you don't want to accept that responsibility. It's too great a burden for you and you want to avoid it at all costs. This is why you want entertainment to take your mind off of yourself and what you have to do to be the person you really want to be. You become passive instead of active and even when you're active, much of what you do to pass the time is a waste of a resource that you will never recover. Time is the one thing when spent can never be recovered. Back to the Mercury Neptune conjunction we have going on, you might try using your imagination and start envisioning yourself as you would like to be. There is a technique some people who are dieting use. They cut out a picture of a good-looking person with a great body and put a picture of their face on it, then stick it up on the refrigerator. It's a motivational tool and if you translate this into other tasks, another example will fill in nicely. All people of all signs would do well to utilize all the other signs in living out your life. You begin by initiating the activity with an eye toward your goal, which really should be well-formed in your mind first, then establish and maintain a pace and the strength by which to attain it. Don't be so fixated on wanting a thing that you miss out on options and alternatives that might be better…or just different. Consider how you feel about what you are going after and do you really need it? Will it satisfy and comfort you and provide you with a foundation for anything else? You are creating here and you have to love what you create because it's your baby…sometimes, literally. Babies are so much work and you're like a slave to them for the first few years of your lives. They are a blessing and a curse, a joy and a pain. So you always have to plan things for them, even when they are grown, including them on outings they would never have done themselves. In fact, that's what relationships are all about, doing things with others you'd rather not do. It's called compromise and we all have to do it at sometime or other. That leads to secret motives to evade those who would influence you…or worse. There are many ways we can get tangled up in an underhanded web but I won't go into them now. Truth be told, we have to learn more about our world to grow and expand to a broader awareness. As we see farther, we can establish priorities and goals become more crystal clear, as we make a commitment and achieve our ambition. What's the top of the world if you don't have friends with whom to share it? We are social beings and require the camaraderie of a group. It makes one feel part of a collective and being part of something that reminds us of our cosmic origin. You were sent here to experience the God within you, creating a life of individuality as part of a collective experiment. It is the science of your mind meeting with the soul of your spirit. When you understand that you are a part of one and the one is in you, you cease seeing yourself as a separate entity and At One, all the time. You can say, I AM connected, forever to the one. And you are. It's here, now. So connect here.

It's the day before the Full Moon in Leo, so we hope all you lovers are still warm in the glow of last night's romantic bliss. Those of you who spent the night alone, I'm working on a plan to help you…but you have to help yourself. If you want someone to spend your life with you then you have to know yourself. The Sun is conjoining Uranus this weekend and Mars is conjoining Pluto today, meaning many changes in store for a lot of people and if you consider the Sun and Mars significators of Male energy, then it's the guys who need to make more changes than women. After all, guys have a harder time explaining their feelings and that's what women want to talk about. Guys have been less inclined to call for help, no matter that they need it vitally to save their relationships or even their careers. But guys, it's because you've been conditioned as much as Pavlov's dog to salivate when it's nearing the time for intimacy, so you rush it and chase the girl off. You need to take the time to learn more about each other if you want to know whether you have anything in common, one of the requirements for a good relationship. Aquarius is the sign of groups and you men need to be in a more support oriented group instead of hanging with a bunch of boozers who only want to party. Blowing off steam isn't really a productive or beneficial use of free time. You could be using it to get yourself into better shape, physically and spiritually to find a better, more enduring relationship. If you are going to be happy, you have to work on yourself. It is the work of yourself, as a unique individual aspect of God that creates the life you lead. Don't settle back and just accept what is offered to you…go out and generate the existence of what you want to become. The more you know about yourself, the closer you are to the God within, which leads in turn, leads you to the God of All. This is the Universal Heart/Mind that is the fabric of which we are woven together like fine cloth. Find yourself and you find the secret of life and God. The individual enlightenment process needs to defeat the savior cults because you are the only one who can save yourself by knowing yourself. Religions of the Piscean Age are the very source of many of our problems today. They have polarized humanity, labeling others as bad or evil, if they do not believe what the "true religion" dictates. In fact, for many centuries, the Pope was the dictator in all but name. The leaders of the Temple in Jerusalem were paranoid that Jesus would overthrow their strict laws of orthodoxy with all that revolutionary talk. You know what happened then. Even gurus from India have become materialistic and twisted the message, spiraling disciples into a disillusioned tailspin. As more and more claim a messianic message, I tell you that there is no savoir other than yourself. Ye are Gods, indeed and all you have to do is know yourself. You can hear God in the still, small voice speaking words of wisdom in your own mind. The Creator wants you to create your will to be done on Earth because your will is God's will, but only in the spirit of Love and creation, since God is not a jealous God or a violent one. He would no sooner want his children to kill and destroy each other than come down and walk into the White House and shake Bush's hand, telling him "Good job, George." In an effort to be fair to our commander-in-chief, we should look at the aspects he's under, making decisions that affect the entire world and the global economy, or the Glob-onomy. For the last year, he's had Neptune opposite Mercury, an aspect that produces communication difficulties and causes more confusion than any other time, so not a good time to be making important decisions. He's got natal Moon conjoining Jupiter in Libra, so he's always needed the advice of other people who are connected to his family, so thanks, dad. In his progression, he's got the Sun approaching natal Mars, so he's getting an itchy trigger finger and his progressed Moon in Scorpio shows the darker side of the motivation; revenge, oil and death. Mars an Pluto are hovering now on his South Node, so it's stuff from the past that obsesses him…well, he is a Cancer. Too bad we can't have him surgically removed…then you have Cheney, no thank you. Maybe wisdom will prevail and the Jupiter transit over W's Mercury will allow him to see the bigger picture and make a positive decision. As it is, the Saturn/Pluto opposition may be the cause of higher gas prices. It's the oil industry inflating the price on the possibility of war! It obscene! There's a new drug for adult ADHD and it's manufactured by the pharmaceutical giant, Evil Lily, makers of Prozac and Viagra. Now I understand why they've worked for years to keep pot illegal. Have you ever seen anyone who's stoned be either hyperactive or scattered all over the place? No…they are mellow and focused…even if it's only watching TV as though they were zombies, the point is, they won't cause you any trouble. Have you even seen anyone get violent who's stoned? I haven't. Yet the alcohol industry is federally sanctioned and endorsed as the drug of America…along with its evil partner, tobacco. These things kill so many people that those industries should be condemned as murderers. Meanwhile, marijuana has never caused a single death from the smoking of it or in the physical results it creates in its users. Yet, the media puts out the message in commercials how it impairs your judgment as though it were LSD. Excuse me, but it doesn't alter your brain chemistry, since it is an herbal plant, used for thousands of years as a remedy for many ailments. We can't let this helpful little herb be wiped out by an ignorant group of corporate and political allies dead set against it. After all, they have their agenda to wipe us out by making the world unlivable by the year 2050 or sooner. We can change that with regime changes all over the place. It starts with people being held accountable for their decisions. The electoral process is flawed. It is my hope that one day, soon, we can have a just and fair process with equal access to the press for all who are running for office. With Presidents Day weekend, I want to say that I believed in an America where any child could grow up to be the president. I believed in the basic goodness of humanity and that we could lead the world in to a new age of peace and freedom. Unfortunately, it seems the opposite is true, as we have managed to incur the wrath of many nations around the world. That's not even scratching the surface of the impact it must make on the One who sees all. Learn your rights and basic freedoms. Read the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. By the way, did you know they were written on hemp paper? That's right, since our founding fathers grew the stuff and used it for many things. I wouldn't doubt if the Boston Tea Party was after they had all smoked a bunch of tea. Class is this afternoon at 2 PM. And now for a moment of silence as we mourn the passing of My Friend Deanna. Venus has recalled one of her goddesses of love and beauty, wisdom and light. My friend of destiny, my partner in the stars, has returned to the heavenly host from which she came and left us many points of light lessened. Saturn returned, time ticking out. The passage marked by Pluto and the Moon, the end of life on Earth…for now. Sleep, my friend…or rather awaken to the new life you've entered. The joy of a higher plane has released you from your pain. See if you can pull some strings on the other side to give us a quicker and easier ride to bring astrology into the mainstream and inspire the masses to wash their souls clean. We will miss you, my dear friend. We will always love you and hold your memory in our hearts. You've brought us insight and pleasure and a presence we cannot ever forget. You'll always be here in spirit with us loving you.

This just in…I didn't know this until this week, the word Februarius comes from a word meaning purification or purgation. Now about this holiday, there may have been a real Valentine, a third-century priest who defied Emperor Claudius II's ban against wartime marriages. According to legend, Valentine performed secret marriages until he was discovered and put to death. Friday is Valentine's Day and the Moon will be in Leo. So make a bold romantic gesture. Isn't ironic that romantic love should be revered in the month when it's often the coldest and under the sign of friendship? Aquarius is about ideals and wishes; it gives us interest in the future. It can make us spacey and shock us with thoughts out of the blue. As you awaken to your individuality, you liberate yourself from limiting structures that defined your past. So, if moving into the future is scary, think about living in the past, where nothing changes and see what you think then. People want to have it all, yet suffer with less than nothing in many cases. The problem is that most don't really know what they want…or it's unreasonable. I find so many wounded souls on the path of life. They were looking for the stairway to heaven and ended up on the highway to hell. One reason is because they take their demons with them from one relationship to another. When you look for someone to fill in all the blanks of your own life, and you have a lot of blanks, it's near impossible to satisfy your dream of true love. However, the more fulfilled you are in your own creation of your life, the easier it is to find a person who fits into the vacant slot. This is why billionaires have so little problem being satisfied by a gorgeous super model. However, if you are an evolving soul seeking the right partner for life, it is harder and takes longer because your standards are more exacting. There are matches that work and many that don't, which is why the divorce rate is so high. So many couples don't consider what they are getting into when they meet, then invest emotion into a game of give and take. They build the relationship on various games and roles, never seeing who the other truly is. Not only do you not see who they are, you have a harder time understanding what they want or need in a partner, so you play a guessing game. This is not the way love really works. Souls are connected by means of planetary energies that reflect where they have been in past lives and where they are inclined to go in this life. As I've mentioned before, the times are changing and we have to keep up with them by becoming more tolerant of differences. It used to be that anyone with a tattoo or a piercing was a bad person, maybe even criminal or at best, freaky. Now, even normal, professional people are getting tattoos and piercings. It the past, you couldn't utter a word against the Church for fear of being burned as a heretic. Now, criticism is rampant, indeed, at times brutal in turning the inquisitional tables. Who's persecuting now? The families of the victims of sexual abuse, that's who…and rightfully so. Religions have also violated the primary dictum of God, to love one another. Indeed, God is Love unlimited. Why then must zealots curse those who are of a different faith? Even Jesus said, "All roads lead to Rome", meaning that if you take any spiritual path long enough, high enough, you get to God. So many people get caught up in programmed thinking instead of thinking for themselves. It's because of the media onslaught that is television and movies as they crank out endless hours of pointless violence and drivel. Originality has given way to reality programming, giving us the cheapest form of entertainment…which is really no entertainment at all. Then, when a car chase occurs on the freeway, all the news stations are following it, pre-empting the real news, if there is such a thing. Since the deregulation, more media outlets are in the hands of fewer people, which means they control what you watch. Refuse the crap that is unworthy of viewing. Hold out for enlightened programs, as when astrology hits the air waves. Write things that interest you and come up with unique stories. If you aren't a writer, send it to me and we'll see if the idea is worthy of TV or film. When disaster strikes, it seems the cameras are rolling. So when the Columbia blew up, we saw much of what happened…but not all. There are some things few people know. During the Challenger takeoff and the Columbia descent, there was an astrological event that may well have affected the crafts. Icarus is the name of an asteroid having to do with liberation and flying too close to the Sun. Both times it was in the sign of Aquarius, the sign of accidents and space flight. NASA needs an astrologer on call. NASA now stands for Need Another Seven Astronauts. There were conspiracy theories that because of the Israeli on board, it was a target for a terrorist attack, but how could they hit the shuttle when they could even take down our planes unless they were on board? There are theories about hitting debris in orbit on the way down. Accidents are Aquarian things, so let it be. Other Aquarian things are Hi-tech stuff, like space-age boobs. Now, a guy feels up a girl because he's trying to find out if they're real. So many boobs, so many fakes. It's not just women, either. Men are having pec implants and butt cheek implants. Some men are going further and transforming themselves into women because they have a biological/spiritual destiny to be a woman. Not all go all the way to SRS, maintaining the look of a woman and the sexual function of a man. There are many guys who are into them, too. You know, they are people, too but have that gender confusion going on. I propose that there should be another letter in the gender column…T for Transgender. Some people are beyond male or female…they are both. It seems that many younger people have gone in for a unisex look and it has happened many times throughout history. Androgyny is a good thing when it comes to clothing. You have fewer outfits to worry about. The future was often depicted as a time of uniform jumpsuits, call it space chic, I guess. It does seem that we are massively confused about where we should be going, though. With an important aspect like Jupiter op. Neptune, you observe the benefits versus the sacrifices…or maybe the opportunities to expand spiritual awareness. If that's the case, I have some truth to help you understand the bigger picture of your life. Let's be honest about religion, while we're at it. It has been a great deception, as well as the current trend in politics. You'll find more information in Conversations With God by Neale Donald Walsch. Read it. The Moon square Neptune/Jupiter opposition is a perfect example of how we want things to feel secure. The challenge is that we become addicted and want more. The appetite increases until we destroy ourselves. The T-Cross empties into Scorpio, as if that should say it all. Death is the only logical conclusion. Some see it a sex and they are related. Orgasm in French is le petite mort, the little death. Most of the time it isn't that pleasant. All right, here's an opportunity for an apprentice position now available where you can learn a trade and eventually earn more money legally than most jobs on the market. One of the great tools in life is astrology and with it you can time everything as well as help those who are confused or lost. You have to be available on Saturdays and have a car. I'd prefer someone between 17 and 25 only because you need to the acute learning skills that decrease as you age. So call and tell me you want to be an astrologer's apprentice. Happy Groundhog's Day. The State of the Onion…at least, that's what I'll be calling my little speech, and although it may not reach the world via network broadcasts, I can content myself that I have more personal integrity and express more truth than the man who would be king of the world. First of all, the economy is bad because of corporate corruption and these are the very entities getting the greatest tax relief. It is also part of the Jupiter opposition to Neptune that brings out the spin-doctors in full force, twisting the truth with deception and misinformation. I call it the Great Deception because it affects the whole planet. It is the energy by which one's righteous zeal presents the view that his way is the right and only way. There has been little effort to help those oppressed countries except to set them up with despots who begin their careers in harmony with US interests. Well, this is not only a new moon but it's the Chinese New Year of the Goat or Sheep. It's a sign of protective instincts and corresponds to Cancer in western astrology. The beginning of a new cycle especially with the Aquarius energy, signifies the future in idealistic terms. Society at large, even the collective consciousness of humanity as a universal brotherhood of Man, is the very essence of this strange and unique sign. To break free from the limitations of Saturnine structures and fears and boldly go into the future with an open mind and a free spirit, is the ideal to which one aspires. To invent new ways of expressing the self so as not to call attention to one's ego but to marvel at their individuality, this is the Aquarian principle. We don't need to go to war. Enlightenment is the greatest weapon against terrorism and can help turn your apparent enemy into your friend. It was in the 70's when Sadat and Begin made a peace between Egypt and Israel, which seems to have lasted. Egypt was traditionally a peaceful country for thousands of years, a good reason many people with strong Taurus placements in their chart have an affinity to the pyramids along the Nile. Then, as now, people became attached to things and other people, wanting to take them into the afterlife with them. We know that you can't take it with you but you can be held back because of wanting things. It can lead to obsession, when you keep placing value over acquisition rather than building your own substance or self-worth. We have to place the value on ourselves rather than material things. Money can't buy me love…although it can buy sex. This leads me to my next topic…relationships. Aquarius is the sign of friendship which is, ideally, a part of every good relationship. I would think you have to like someone before you can love him or her. That's not always true in families. He's your brother…you don't have to like him but you have to love him. Yuck! In some marriages, the passion of the early years fades and is either supplanted by friendship or decays into resentment. We see the other as preventing us from being the person we want to be…or needed to be. Maybe too much time has passed and we have avoided being our true selves so must blame the other for our unlived joy. Sometimes it's not the person you're with but the one who's gone, leaving you to cope on your own. Sorry, but life goes on and you are still here. Deal with it…that little thing called Earth Life 101. You are defined more by your own will than you are by what you exert over others. It's what you do for yourself, to become a better person that allows you to have better relationships. As you get better, they do too. Then you won't get into any more bad relationships, which too many people seem to find a way into. You find that you spend more time figuring out what's wrong that you don't have any time to enjoy anything that might be good. There's no point staying in a bad relationship because there is little growth and mostly regression and reaction. Even a good relationship can break up when an individual needs to find their lost self. Defining your separateness can go a long way to leading you back into oneness. Some couples realize what they give up to find their true self and end up back together. I've heard of people getting remarried after going their separate ways…more than a few times. Life is a complex road with many twists and turns and just because you take a vow before God and everyone doesn't mean you have to give up your sense of who you are. If you lose yourself along the way, why, that's what some people do. There's no blame or fault. It happens. We're all imperfect perfections of the One. We are the individuated aspects of what most call God and are as cells in the vast body of all that is. The universal mind is represented by the sign of Aquarius and it is the sign of humanitarian equality…racial and religious boundaries are virtually non-existent, unless it's the act of recognizing them where they exist. It is the ideal to see a true equality because we are all equal parts of the whole of God. It is the great equalizing thought that we are no better nor worse than the greatest of all sports legends or war heros in the eyes of God. We are all His children, but some would claim closer acquaintance because of their position in orthodox religions. Earthly power over the human masses can sway a person to the dark side. In our dark world, we seek a redeemer, a savior, a hero that will rescue us from our own stupidity or lack of direction. This could be a reason that many superhero movies are proliferating, as our savior complex reaches epidemic proportions. We resist the need to take personal responsibility for our own evolution, saying we are victims of society. Fast foods can make you fat only if you eat them. You have to make better choices of how to eat to live instead of living to eat. Not even a super doctor can always save you from yourself when you clog up your arteries with cholesterol and globs of fat. With this New Moon, why not make a decision to lighten up your diet and lessen your burden. As much as I wish our fearless leader would lighten up, his ham handed advisors are letting him know he can't back down. Mr. Big has spoken and wants his dirty war with all its hidden motives and agendas. We can't really know what's going on behind the scenes because so much has already been decided. It's just a matter of time and if astrology is any indication, which it usually is, then the mostly likely time for an invasion is the Full Moon. The D-Day invasion was also on a full moon. This next one has the exact opposition of Jupiter and Neptune as well as a conjunction from Mars to Pluto…wow! What a violent combination that is! It will be fast and furious…if it happens at all. Aquarius is also the sign of the unpredictable. If you think you know and it doesn't happen the way you thought, it just shows, you never really know. So, what should you do if the world goes to war? Do what you would do if you were studying to get into heaven. Work on becoming a better being. Build your truth with this Sun opposite Jupiter tonight and be aware of the big picture…that those in power want to stay in power and gain more of it while there. Do not, then, trust the good old bubba from Texas. He's only doing what he's told to do and saying what they tell him to say. Stick to the script George, since you don't remember too well and forget even the simplest of clichés. It's like my daddy always told me…he said, "Son, when your mamma says George, is she calling you or me?" Enough of the political punch lines, let's get back to the realm of spirit. I'm reading now Conversations with God, book 2 and while I love it, I feel it's old news to me. I guess that's what 28 years of astrological attunement to the universal harmony will do for you. The secret to life is to understand your self as connected to the One and the One within you. Then, everything will seem familiar yet excitingly fresh at the same time because it is all part of the creative process…as are you. You've got the power to create your future; all you have to do is know yourself with the power of astrology! This is the time for fresh starts and knowing yourself with the wisdom of this science of the past and future is a cool way to get a heads up about stuff.
