CHIRON represents the QUEST for enlightenment and offers a means of teaching, healing and helping you to that goal. It's the SEEKER, MENTOR, SAGE ADVISOR, whether it be a person of significance in your life or an aspect of your own personality. He is also the WOUNDED HEALER and may manifest as a wound that will not heal. Chronic pain has an anagram of Chiron in it. It may have something to do with handicaps and disabilities. That is a cue for the student to do some personal research. .

The sign Chiron is in shows what you seek as truth in life and what your spiritual goal is, while the house of its location indicates the area of your life in which to seek it. Of course, that's an oversimplification and further research on your part may turn up an entirely different perspective. There's one additional point of fact to consider. He finds it's easier to forget the pain if they aren't always there to remind you. The shaman, the channel, the herbalist, the astrologer, the healer and the mystic are all chronically Chironic, ironically. First you spend time with a mentor, or possible apprentice with a master, then you study on your own as you continue your learning process and make a meager living helping people. Then you take on students and pass on the ancient wisdom it took a lifetime to accumulate. Finally you write a book and make lots of money so you can live it up just before the mothership beams you up. Okay, I lied about that last part. If you know anything about Chiron, you know it to be above and beyond the normal realm wherein most of humanity resides.
